A little ditty partly inspired by the events of this past summer here in the UK but mostly just about polarised society, the constant stream of misinformation we're all bombarded with and the state of permanent anger that everyone seems to live in these days.

This is a track from 'falcon's 2nd Album, Lost for Sleep.  The track came about after Mike & Kit chatted about the incress in  domestic violence during the 2020 Covid thing.

The second track I have done with The Gatsbys and it’s always a pleasure to be asked to collaborate.
Dirk sent me the instrumental and like before I was blown away by his guitar work & melody.
I contributed the lyrics and vocal melodies to this.
It was an honour that he used Nothing left to defend on his latest album Cancel the winter.
So to be asked again was always going to be a yes. 
The  Gatsbys always create that live indie band sound on final recordings  especially with Bens percussion work. 
I hope you enjoy the track as I enjoyed singing on it.

I’ve faced numerous challenges in my life, sometimes stoically enduring them. However, it’s difficult to articulate this particular feeling. I hardly showcase my softer side. The truth is, I experience far more pain than I let I love everyone in my family deeply, including my friends I’ve known throughout my life. I’m incredibly grateful for what I have in my life because I’m acutely aware of what I’ve lost.

AŬSKULTI is a collaborative project curated by Johano Nadabindu (aka João Svayam ) from the TUTMONDA sound label. Its main focus is to unite musicians from all over, showcasing their talent, language, and creativity on tracks that are primarily improvised.
LOVE IS ALL is a collaboration track originally created for a different project with the wonderful input of Jörg S and Steve Coombes on soprano saxophones. It's an exploration between fixed harmony and free improvisation.

Process:
João Svayam was creating the project ALGUMAS VISÕES in 2022 https://soundcloud.com/joaomsousa/sets/algumas-visoes-vol-1 , and was gathering sounds for the second volume. Hey recorded some keys with a VST plug in, and then mixed some improv drums recorded aroud 2021. He then sent it to Jörg S and Steve Coombes at the same time! And the result was amazing : João felt like the three of them were playing in the same room!
