This week's #disquietjunto prompt was to make some music based on the chord from “Organ²/ASLSP” by John Cage. The second part of the prompt was to make it a *drone*, which I totally forgot about! Oh well - here's a very non-droning piece. I interpreted the pitches as pitches (unsurprisingly), but used the register indicators as note durations. I used that as a cantus firmus and wrote a new melody over this sequences of pitches. 

From there, I had Ableton play through the pitches randomly, creating unpredictable harmonies; sometimes one of the two voices would be transposed down a major second or a perfect fourth to add some variety to the chords. I added a synth arpeggio over it using the same pitches in order. There is a very subtle field recording of a washing machine in this part too.

Then, the melody and ASLSP accompaniment reappears.

The end result is kind of like ambient music if you were made of circuitry.

@triermusic last submission (https://soundcloud.com/triermusic/two-of-three-disquiet0592) inspired me with his melody added to Andreas Kitzmann (https://soundcloud.com/andreas-kitzmann-27370936/disquiet0591). It reminded me the great Augustus Pablo. So I decided to dub and pay a tribute to the great melodica master.

I recorded bass and guitar tracks and a rhythmic experimental track with AudioThing Noises. Guitar & Noises are processed by AudioThing Outer Space for delay and reverb. I then added encoderaudio Ferro to give some tasty tape hiss, wow & flutter to my tracks.
It was challenging to work without a BPM and with such fluid structure.

My imagination is not flamboyant today, I just went for some linear playing, both an upright bass linear impro and an harmonica and synth simple straight drone.
