Everyone’s favourite bangin’ Brisbane duo X CLUB. ready up four typically in your face cuts of driving, textured techno on 1Ø PILLS MATE that have us dreaming of giant warehouses and sweaty hugs. Channeling big rave energy from grime, electro and breaks - and ultimately using this influence to texture their heavy sound - the pair take inspiration from the 90’s rave movement and contemporary experimental artists.

‘Turning A Blind Eye To This Nonsense’ delivers on the escapism it promises, staying true to the driven aesthetic that the duo have become known for; sirens blaring, deep atmospherics and uncompromising rave. Fellow Australian Mutant Joe is enlisted on ‘Silo’ - an acid dipped techno-electro workout spawned from the depths of hell.

The record's biggest moments arrive on ‘Beta Rays’, where both the artist's interest in sound design and sonic engineering across their respective solo projects really shines across 8 minutes of cinematic rave. Managing to capture the nostalgic rave feeling that Bicep’s ‘Glue’ channelled to roaring success, X CLUB. serve up an emotionally-driven journey that is destined to dominate sound systems around the globe.

Their UK influence is felt most heavily on ‘300mpbs’ (½ of the duo, Benedict Clarke, is actually from Bristol); a gnarly cut of snarling drum & bass influenced breaks that is sure to incite a gun-finger trigger rush in the club.

The Love Anthem remixes contains four strong, diverse and well rounded mixes from Lindsey Herbert, Ray Kajioka, Mike Derer and Gabriella Vergilov.

Lindsey Herbert opens the EP with a high energy dance floor cut that executes booming hypnotic grooves, high density synth, percussions and a peak time drive.

Ray Kajioka serves up a remix that sucks you into an intense cymbal driven rhythm that surprises with deep moody chords and well programmed vocals.

Mike Derer brings his unique sound of stripped down grooves that is minimal, yet effective and with catchy synth line that provides rhythm through-out the ride.

Gabriella Vergilov adds another interpretation that differs from her original track that was released on the Gradual Landscapes compilation in December 2020. Her Acid Bang remix is playful, stompy with a sultry acid line and her iconic vocals.

Me lembro quando comecei a trabalhar com os programas de produção musical, era tudo tao novo e difícil, naquela época eu trocaria qualquer quantia de dinheiro para saber o que eu sei hoje em termos de conhecimento. Nós artistas nos contentamos muito com o próprio processo evolutivo, o ato de estar em constante evolução e conhecendo mais sobre o assunto dá grande parte do sentido da nossa vida. 
E quando passamos esse processo evolutivo, após o aprendizado primário, acontece a  simbiose entre o artista e a arte, onde ele se auto-conheceu o bastante para fazer da própria arte o seu propósito de vida e se comunica por meio dela, o universo te da como retorno a abundância, em termos planetários podemos dizer que o dinheiro e a abundância fluem para quem se comunica de forma única com a arte.

One of humanity's greatest mysteries also transcends the spiritual, the interior, the faith. Have you solved the money riddle yet?
Many would like to have it in large quantities and every day we depend on it, just like most of you, I am in this quest linked to my dream as an artist, the dream of my artistic ego.
I remember when I started working with music production programs, everything was so new and difficult, at that time I would exchange any amount of money to know what I know today in terms of knowledge. We artists are very content with the evolutionary process itself, the act of being in constant evolution and knowing more about the subject gives much of the meaning of our life.
And when we go through this evolutionary process, after primary learning, the symbiosis between the artist and art happens, where he becomes self-aware enough to make art itself his purpose in life and communicates through it, the universe tells you as a return to abundance, in planetary terms we can say that money and abundance flow to those who communicate in a unique way with art.
