Zaterdag 28 september is het tijd voor de vierde editie van Hit 'n Run Soundsystem presents: Circus Overdrive!

Uiteraard doen we dit weer Pand 14 in Amsterdam, waar Circus Overdrive hoort!

Omdat we voor muzikale variatie zijn maken we van deze gelegenheid gebruik om alles te brengen wat we leuk vinden, en wel gespreid over twee zalen.

In de bovenzaal ga je genieten van de dikste Dubstep, rollende Drum 'n Bass en vetste Breakcore! En de benedenzaal zal gevuld worden met spacende Acid, meeslepende Tekno en knetterharde Underground Hardcore!
Zoals je gewend bent van Hit 'n Run zal er veel aandacht besteedt worden aan zowel aankleding als geluid en line-up.
Zo zullen de visuals gebracht worden door de Hit 'n Run VJS en gaat het Hit 'n Run Soundsystem aangevuld worden met wat extra speakers zodat het dak van Pand 14 afgeblazen gaat worden!

De entree zal op basis zijn van donatie om zoveel mogelijk bij het free-party gevoel te blijven.

Alan Fitzpatrick’s record label We Are The Brave welcomes an acid-tinged industrial techno EP from Manchester based artist and producer, NANCY Live.

Renowned for her high energy live performances, NANCY Live has taken her hardware set-up to some of the most prestigious clubs across the UK and Europe, including The Warehouse Project Manchester, Fabric London and DC10 Ibiza, to name a few. WATB092 marks the artists’ third EP on the imprint, following her recent outings on Dense & Pika's ‘Kneaded Pains’ and Patrick Topping's ‘Trick’. NANCY Live’s previous releases have garnered support from likes of Carl Cox, Theo Nasa and Amelie Lens on her BBC Radio 1 residency. The latest two track EP is another fine example of the artist’s explosive style.

"Speed Demon" opens with its pounding kick drum and furious acid-line laying a foundation for the track’s distinctive vocal and thrashing hi-hats. "Rant & Rave" also focuses on high velocity percussion and gritty sound design with its pulsating bassline and hard-hitting groove.

So the 90s are back, right? With their dreamy deep
atmospheres , their simple house grooves, with samplers
dominating the scene where electronics is mixed up with
samples of acoustic instruments, in an ever serene and
dreamlike mood...
YES, BUT the 90s were something else too! There was
the Bad Masters' techno as well!
Noise like rhythmic scansion, extreme digital modulation,
exasperated editing.
From his huge archives Robotnick fishes out some
experimental techno-house and dub tracks he had fun
producing in the late 90s, while his major creative energy
was turned to ambient and world-music.
Starting with "Science" and "Modulation" - that could be
defined Industrial-techno - and "Tangerine Blob" - a sort
of Goa-Trance -
97 Bad Masters is the follow-up of "Robotnick's Archives"
with a special focus on the 90s.
