“Revolve” brings together an array of field recordings - including a London police radio, a bus in Zagreb and cicadas in New York - into strangely frenetic yet hypnotic future beats track. It was created as part of an initiative organised by CDR Projects (the international producers’ movement in which Faith is involved) and Dimensions Festival. The challenge was to make an original song using field recordings contributed by a global community, and “Revolve” will appear on a forthcoming compilation of the top creations.

‘DNA’ is a new series of v/a albums on Food Music, each presented by some of the worlds most exciting DJ and production talent.

The first in the series, crafted by Kry Wolf, is a journey through the musical flavours and vibes that inspire Lewis and Bill to do what they do. Presented both in a DJ mix and as individual tracks, we’re proud to present an album full of exclusive material put together the best way we know how, featuring New York Transit Authority, Shadow Child with Friend Within and Doorly, Bodhi, Aaron Snapes, Waifs and Strays and brand new material from Kry Wolf themselves, including ‘No Trouble’, and the now official update of Rave Classic ‘Sweet Harmony’, with full blessing from Liquid and XL Recordings.

The new up-and-comers on this album also offer us a fresh perspective on the future of House, amongst others Pluto, Vyhce, Tones, and in particular the long-awaited ‘Dysturbed Trumpet’ from Geoff K, provide a bright look into 2015 and beyond with the rest of the talent featured on Kry Wolf’s ‘DNA’.

Rising Montreal producer Forrest teams up with Thailand’s Sunju Hargun on this 4-track tech-house workout.

Having racked up releases on 2020Vision, Mobilee, Visionquest, Defected, Vakant, VIVa, and Souvenir to name just a few, Forrest has had a very prolific few years. Collabs with Avatism & Eric Volta, support by tastemakers like Richie Hawtin, Cajmere and Solomun, every indication is that this is an artist set to explode this year. He’s also just launched Amadeus records, and will have his debut album out in 2015. Impressed yet?

Teaming up with Bangkok’s Sunju Hargun sees Forrest at his most club oriented, crafting four expertly produced tech-house tracks perfect for late-night sets at super-clubs the world over. No vocals this time around, with melodies subdued, this EP is straight to the point, stripped to the basics - potent.

Trigger Funk is an independent record label and events promotion which was originally formed in 2008.

Trigger Funk specialises in many forms of House music which has been supported on Radio stations such as BBC Radio 1 Extra and Rinse FM.

Event wise, Trigger Funk has hosted and played many events across London including a bi-monthly event at Inigo in Clapham, The Lightbox and also a boat party. Trigger Funk currently runs monthly nights at Hysteria in Dalston, East London.
