What sets 'One Night In The Heaven' apart from other albums is that it was recorded using a 360-degree format (ambisonics 1st order), which is then encoded into a stereo/binaural .wav file using Alvarez's custom process. This allows listeners to experience an immersive sound experience, which is set to lead the change for a new way of listening to music.

Alvarez's approach to music production is informed by his own personal experiences. After being isolated in a psychiatric hospital in Berlin, he broke both legs while trying to escape, leaving him in a wheelchair for an extended period. It was during this time that he explored the possibilities of 360º sound design, which eventually led to the creation of 'One Night In The Heaven'.

The album is a testament to Alvarez's creative vision and his ability to push the boundaries of electronic music. Each track showcases his mastery of sound design, with layers of texture and melody that create a truly immersive listening experience. While the album is best enjoyed with headphones, it is also compatible with normal stereo systems.

Manufactured Conflicts is the hard-hitting precision engineered debut from one of electronic music’s most acclaimed experimental underground’s drummer. His cinematic math-laden techno is a combination of beastial, off-pulse rhythms, clever metric modulation, inspired textures and punchy transients designed to bend the listener’s mind whilst providing a high-impact full-body massage groove to the dancefloor.

Fierce and punishing, title tracks ‘Manufactured Conflicts’ and ‘Orbature’ pummel away at the consciousness where the only way out is through whole mind and body surrender. Manipulations of the mind play out in the two end-game scenarios of ‘Artificial Landscapes Part 1 and 2’, where lightness and tension interlace between man and machine.

Samuel Kerridge thoughtfully re-engineers ‘Orbature’ re-pacing the structure and contributing additional textures to the piece. His rework sculpts a haunting industrial feel to the track.

Sorcery cuts a unique presence in electronic music’s experimental underground. A passion for the interaction between acoustic and electronic instruments has led to the creation of intricate, mind bending and challenging compositions. There’s an unrelenting and visceral impulse to his work, defined by a life-long and far-reaching passion for the rhythmic qualities of music. It’s a compelling, abrasive alchemy, defined by a belief in pursuing the ‘Gesamtkunstwerk’. This is ‘total’ music production: composition, collaboration, performance and recording — of which he is a proven a master in all four disciplines.

The producer behind Sorcery has lent his unique live drummer presence to the techno scene throughout various contributions and collaborations including with Kangding Ray, Belief Defect, Dadub and Powell just to name a few. This musicianship has led him to perform twice at Atonal festival and release on the Atonal imprint with SUMS (Kangding Ray + Barry Burns/Mogwai).

Under the moniker Trig, live techno virtuoso Michael West emerges, captivating audiences across New Zealand with his relentless rhythm-driven compositions and electrifying synth melodies. The distinctive Trig style is a fusion of drum machines and modular synthesis, meticulously crafted in the studio and brought to life on stage through the prowess of Ableton Live.

In a prior artistic incarnation, Michael West operated under the alias Sick Cycle, an accomplished drum and bass project with a legacy spanning over two decades. Trig, however, serves as the evolution of these acquired principles, expertly translated into the realm of live techno.

The year 2022 marked Trig's debut onto the scene, characterized by inaugural releases and performances. The inaugural event was the modular synthesis celebration "Modfest," accompanied by its corresponding album "Modfest22." In swift succession, as 2023 unfolded, the esteemed Christchurch collective Kind of Green extended invitations for Trig to grace several events and contribute to the label's discography. The release "Trig - Entity/Player 67," labeled as KOG003, garnered widespread acclaim within the music community. Notably, the track "Entity" secured a prominent position within the top 10 rotation on RDU radio station for multiple weeks.

Trig plays a pivotal role in promoting the utilization of modular synthesis and drum machines within the realm of music. Furthermore, Trig imparts expertise as an educator in these domains of music production, maintaining ongoing collaborations with Ableton and MAINZ, all while dedicating daily efforts to this role.

Trig's path forward involves delving into even more intricate rhythms and pushing the boundaries of the mind with mesmerizing synthesizer harmonies.
