Very hard to put in words the magnificient, raw, happy, outrageous, funny mix of reggae and rock of the duo. Born as pure divértissement, the game became an ablaze roundabout, free expression of two guys, jumpin’ in the streets of Brussels, with nothing to lose. To me, their sets are like a stumbling, dirty-epic emotional rescue that open hidden windows, stupid, lost train between forgotten hills. Fede and Dan: they put heart in what they do, and probably they don’t even know…As Eduardo de Filippo(actor and theatre writer)said:”Who search style, find death. Who search life, find style”. Belly, bones, hips and heart, are you ready? Here comes a party for all the chakras. So, let’s go! These bodies were made for dancing… " (DJ King Mi.DA.)

Ancré dans Bruxelles, VAGA’BAND s’est constitué autour de son chanteur Be Lion Vagabond pour performer en tant que live band ainsi que pour composer un répertoire original, en français, en vue d’un premier album. Et ce, après 4 ans de création de chansons inspirées parfois par Bruxelles mais aussi par une réflexion authentique sur notre société et les relations humaines.
Le son du VAGA’BAND est principalement ragga mêlé à du reggae, du dancehall mais aussi du Hip Hop, du dubstep… Un concert du VAGA’BAND est un mélange de textes profonds et d’une vibe positive, dansante et énergique.
VAGA’BAND, c’est une écriture incisive, des musiciens expérimentés et talentueux. À cela, s’ajoute une volonté d’évolution de la performance scénique pour plus d’interactivité avec le public (actuellement participation de celui-ci au contenu de l’album). Et aussi une plus grande immersion de celui-ci dans le spectacle même grâce à la technologie (projet en développement et bientôt visible sur scène).
Cette vision futuriste d’une technologie au service des mélodies et du message s’inscrit même jusque dans l’imagerie du groupe.
