Under the Same Glorious Sky is a musical love letter to the quiet places that remind us who we are.

Inspired by America’s national parks and the shared human experience of standing in awe beneath something greater than ourselves, these songs explore reflection, wonder, and connection — to the land, to each other, and to the moments that shape us.

As John Muir once wrote, “But in every walk with Nature one receives far more than he seeks.”

Rooted in folk and singer-songwriter traditions, this album invites listeners to slow down, breathe deeply, and remember that no matter where we stand, we all live under the same glorious sky.

Visit a national park and revel in all that nature can nurture within you.

This work is dedicated to my brother, Kenneth Markley, who taught me to take only memories and enjoy every minute in nature — whether it was a national park or a short hike nearby.
