Led by wild and captivating front-man Fred Farrell, “Saytr Play have a burgeoning reputation for delivering a live show that’ll leave you begging for more (This Feeling, Gigslutz). Over the past few years the band have sold-out several headline shows at some of Manchester’s most iconic music venues as well as appearing at YNot?, Kendal Calling, 110 Above. Receiving plays from BBC radio 1, Radio X, Amazing Radio and BBC Introducing, as well as playlisting on Spotify (New Music Friday UK, Fresh Finds, Hot New Bands, Indie List) The band have racked up over 2 million streams on Spotify & a dedicated fanbase.

Following their hiatus, Saytr Play returned in 2023 year with ‘The Butterfly Stitches EP’ amassing over 450,000 streams on Spotify (Editorial backing on New Music Friday UK and Fresh Finds), BBC Introducing support, playlisting on XS Manchester and national radio coverage on BBC Radio 1 and Radio X. Off the back of this success, Saytr Play finished the year performing to over 1000 people at Manchester’s Iconic Academy 2.

Taken from the ‘Life in Black and White EP’ Saytr Play released the singles ‘Brother (YKTDY)’ and ‘Falling Out Of Love’ towards the end of 2023, again receiving editorial backing from Spotify and radio support from BBC Introducing, XS Manchester and Radio X. In January 2024, Falling Out Of Love featured on Jess Iszatt’s BBC Introducing show on BBC Radio 1, a huge moment for an independent band that prides itself on self producing and releasing their own music.

‘Only You’ will be released on 15th March 2024 and is our third single from the upcoming ‘Life in Black and White EP. Featuring distorted guitars and bright synths, the song speaks about the initial stages of a relationship where nothing else matters and you feel more alive than you ever have before. We wrote, recorded and produced the song in our bedrooms (something we’re massively proud of!) We always write music based on experiences that we have lived and we want the listener to feel that! Amanda-Rose Hill is a British female Country artist. Named after her parent’s birthplace ‘Rose Hill’ in Mauritius, but equally sharing the name with Rose Hill in Tennessee (the birth state of Country music). Hailing from the landscapes of Manchester in the UK, Country Music Recording Artist, Amanda-Rose Hill, has been hitting the ground running ever since her aspirations as a young 11-year old singer. Fast forward to her adult years, and the manifestation of a brilliant Recording and Performing Artist is making her mark in the Music Industry at an incredible pace with an insatiable fan base, signature sound, and charismatic personality to match with her talent.
Since gracing the stage at many Venues and Events, Hill has had the privilege of playing Shows with Artist greats such as Gary Quinn (Multi-Award Winning British Country Singer), Dexeter Band, Laura Oakes, and many others. She has also performed over 50 times in the Festival circuit, along with gigs around many areas of the UK to garner her fan base and gather inspiration for her upcoming debut EP.

On June 19th 2014, Amanda-Rose released her single "A Father's Love", which received positive reception and critical acclaim. Her upcoming follow-up single, "Ain't Drunk", is due for release very soon. She's also currently in the Recording stages of her debut EP, slated for release this summer with an Album follow-up later this year in 2017.

With a very busy schedule in the studio along with a broad range of shows booked for this summer and the rest of the year for Amanda-Rose Hill, expect some big things on the horizon in the shortcoming. The starlet's prospect of new music releases and performances is currently sustaining Hill's fan anticipation, and continuation of being a rising star that will soon be a much bigger name in the Industry. In January 2023 fellow Stokies, DaveO Owen, Neil Owen, Paul Brown and Richard Raizada met up for a drink at a pub in Werrington where they formed a band called  ROGUE TURPIN.  The music is invigorating style of folk, infused with elements of punk and rock n roll.
The foursome  originally of  Sons of Clogger  formed in 2012 have reputation for their foot stomping, theatrical, in-your-face shenanigans, which has lead to the boys performing at a string of festivals including the highly acclaimed Acoustic Festival of Britain and opening up at Attila the Stockbrokers ’Glastonwick’ where Attila himself described them as The Men They Couldn’t Hang meets The Pogues a must see band with Immense intelligence for song writing.
ROGUE TURPIN are busy bringing back the original Clogger tunes and adding more brand new songs to their extensive repertoire...
