Born & raised in that New Orleans La. Music has always been a big part of my life with a love for all types from 70s classic rock to 80’s punk, metal & hair bands. The early Rap,Freestyle & BreakDance era exploding into industrial techno into the birth of house music . In the 90s the rebirth of BreakBeats, Grunge rock ,alternative rock all the way to present day pop etc.  
Began collecting & spinning Vinyl in my mid teens. Love for any & all music genres. Inspired by early rap artist/groups such as: WHoudini , DougieFresh, SugarHillGang, SlickRick, Run DMC the Beastie boys , Public enemy NWA , TooShort, Eric B and Rakim, A tribe called quest all well as Progressive retro, Industrial, Techno, freestyle classics like Kyper, Egyptian lover ,African Bambaataa , Information Society, Debbie Deb ,Noel, Stevie B, The beat club, Rhythm device, Little Susie, Rockell 
 And even more progressive like New Order,The Cure, Depeche Mode Front242 Nitzereb Into even harder techno rave style Prodigy, AlterN8 ,Lords of Acid And It goes it on. First club gig at a bar called Nightcaps. then on to other clubs in Nola including club 911 ,P hantoms ,the fixx, Bayou mamas ,aliens,the maxx hott rox, on the rocks , idols, Then headed to PCB Florida spring break capital of the world where I became resident @ Club LaVela in the DARKROOM, The UNDERGROUND NiteGallery till 2001 Spinning Breaks, drum and bass ,hard house ,progressive house etc.
Over the years at club LaVela I have had the honor and privilege of spinning with and meeting countless DJs producers in artist such as Lords of Acid, thrill, kill cult, NIN, DJ assault, DJ icey, Huda Hudia, A.k.1200. Veana Marie was born and raised in Mass. She started really early on singing in church and writing poetry. She studied music at Barnstable Highschool and was then accepted to Berklee School of music. Finding that she wanted to be more hands on, Veana left Berklee and started working for a small local record label out of Boston where she recorded and wrote music and scouted for talented musicians and singers. Putting her music career on hold to have a family, Veana never stopped writing and has recently finished her first mixtape entitled The Heat is Calling this year.
