Stone (@stone_xo), a UK-based electronic music producer, has been on our radar since long time due his genuinely hazy and wistful style and we wanted to warmly receive him as the third installment of the year.

Wings of D’sire is the sonic bi-product of the friendship between party-enjoyers / closed-eyed dancers / Gadigal-based DJs Maria Wang @dgradeknockoff and Liam Taylor @wiiingnut. Inspired by a spectrum of frenetic, bossy and beautiful sounds, Wings of D’sire pursue the margins of dance music as they navigate us through boisterous and emotive waves of sub-bass.

This is a re-recording of their monumental set at Soft Centre 2023. Originally recorded at Carriageworks on Gadigal land.

a. Hi my name is Eden Aurelius, I am a dj / musician currently based in Brooklyn, New York. 

q. is there a story behind the mix?
a. There is a balance of rhythmic and delicate sounds that I wanted to be cohesive across the recording. It illustrates spatial energy and rhythm forming between each other - kind of like a path forming in front of you. 

q. what’s the best way to enjoy your mix?
a. By a body of water 

q. describe a favorite object in your living room...
a. A plant that an old family member gave me, or a photo of a volcano that my girlfriend took while we were traveling together. 

q. are you working on any projects right now (music or not music)?
a. I am currently trying to read more often and trying to keep a journal haha. Musically I have a few different projects floating around that I believe will turn into a full body of work sometime next year.

grainy, intimate, close to the skin, capturing the world in fragments of light and shadow.

At the core of the album lies a musical philosophy inspired by that psychedelic Texas trio known for reinventing global minimalism —
