This is a story of a man who's partner suddenly leaves him.  It feels, to him, that it came out of nowhere - nothing appeared to be wrong.  It's a shock and mystifying, at least at first.  I've known a few of these men.  Mostly they come to understand what happened after a while.

"Love Left Behind" is a raw, unflinching look at the moment of absolute finality. It's a dark toast to everything that was and everything that will never be again. This track dives into the crushing weight of a love lost, the helplessness in watching a downfall, and the desperate, self-destructive desire to drink the painful memories dry. It's a final, shared glass of wine with a ghost.
