Spring has arrived with a special moment for the Saisons family as we welcome a release from one of our very own co-founders.

Vincent, better known as @dobmusique , emerges from behind the scenes to present his first EP "Oblivion". The Montréal-based artist has been an artistic force quietly shaping our label's sonic identity from the beginning, acting as the A&R of the imprint.

"Stasis" opens with pulsating rhythms and rich textures, gradually unfolding into a cosmic journey where organic elements and electronic precision find perfect harmony. The title track, "Oblivion", ventures deeper—cascading melodies, immersive soundscapes, and hypnotic percussion build toward a transcendental climax.

Both tracks showcase döb's signature approach: meticulous sound design with emotional depth. Drawing from his experience as one half of Döppel Mind and as a curator at Saisons, his productions weave narratives that transform dance floors into gravity-free sonic scapes.

In Hindu Philosophy and some Indian religions, samskaras or sanskaras (Sanskrit: संस्कार) are mental impressions, recollections, or psychological imprints that colour one's thoughts and actions, and form the basis for the development of karma theory.
In Buddhism, the Sanskrit term samskara is used to describe "mental formations," "will," and many other concepts; in Pāli it is referred to as saṅkhāra.

According to various schools of Indian philosophy, every action, intent or preparation by an individual leaves a samskara (impression, impact, imprint) in the deeper structure of the person's mind. These impressions then await volitional fruition in that individual's future, in the form of hidden expectations, circumstances or a subconscious sense of self-worth. These Samskaras manifest as tendencies, karmic impulses, subliminal impressions, habitual potencies or innate dispositions.

✺│Kaöb — EP 5 Ceremonias
At the crossroads of unseen worlds and forgotten voices, 5 Ceremonias, the new EP by Kaöb, invites us on an initiatory journey through ancestral wisdom and sacred dimensions of the soul. Each track is an invocation, a tribute, a sonic offering to the Earth’s guardians and the ancient memory of humankind.
1. Tagbanuwa
 The journey begins in the Philippine islands, where ancient peoples still live in harmony with the spirits of nature. Inspired by the Tagbanwa people, this piece connects us to primordial forests and ritual practices, where every tree, every breath, holds presence and meaning.
2. Yupkas
 A cry for memory and justice. The Yupka, an Indigenous people of Colombia, are losing their ancestral lands to the destructive greed of multinational mining. This track, both powerful and delicate, resonates with their struggle—giving voice to what is being silenced and erased.
3. Huachuma
 The heart of the EP. Huachuma, or the San Pedro cactus, is a sacred medicine plant from the Andes. This track guides us through altered states of consciousness—between healing and introspection. A sonic bridge to ancient Andean rituals, where the sacred becomes palpable.
4. Satsaṅg
 A moment of stillness. In Sanskrit, Satsaṅg means “being in the presence of truth.” Here, Kaöb offers a deep meditation—a spiritual gathering through sound, where ancient wisdom echoes in minimalist, luminous textures.
5. Nikwokal Kon Atiu
 An invented language, a free creation. This final piece blends Amazonian atmospheres with Tibetan and Aztec vocal textures. A shamanic trance, like a shared dream across worlds, across time, across spirits.
Huachuma is more than an EP: it’s a musical offering, a ceremony, a sonic map of Indigenous memory, spirituality, and planetary awareness. Kaöb weaves an invisible thread between ancient peoples and the modern listener—a reminder that we are all rooted in the same Earth.

I recorded these chants during a peaceful protest for Palestine in Montréal last year. Back in the studio, carried by the charged collective energy of that moment, this piece came to life.

Today feels like the right moment to release it—hoping it resonates with you, whether in your heart or in your sets—as a contribution to the rising wave of awareness and support for Palestinian liberation.

The ongoing genocide has reached unbearable proportions: forced famine, displacement, and the attempt to erase an entire people. While governments and powers of darkness try to convince us that we are powerless, the Freedom Flotilla reminds us of our capacity to unite for collective change.

We are the people. We are the change—today and tomorrow.

For a veteran chillout producer to successfully navigate the transition to sought-after producer / remixer and DJ within the Progressive House scene, is not an easy ask. But Nick Brennan a.k.a. Tripswitch has done just that – and with distinction. It was his Tripswitch ‘Vagabond’ album (Iboga Records, 2016) that cemented his highly rated status as a key dance producer beyond doubt.
