Katharine's sessions are the go-to choice for friends worldwide who crave deep, warm minimal sounds after a night of clubbing. Since 1999, she has been a key influencer on dance floors in Australia, known for her unique sideways West Coast house music. For eight years, she and Ben Abrahams hosted massive Saturday nights at Elsewhere on the Gold Coast. Together with Jules David, they run the label and party series Motion:Theory Music.
Recently, Katharine launched Selekt Sessions with Rupert Wall from Brooklyn, showcasing minimal artists they consider pioneers in the scene. Over the past decade, Katharine has been mixing for Romanian minimal collectives, earning a dedicated following among micro-sound enthusiasts. Last year alone, she released over 20 mixes for minimal labels, including experimental and heartfelt ambient journeys on Satya Records, Miromu, and the 333Flow series, many of which were all-vinyl sets.
Katharine's recent performances include a three-hour vinyl set for the Breakfast Club, a mix for Skylab Radio at the Music Room, and a new monthly residency at FiftyFive Bar, where she plays five-hour vinyl sets. You can also catch her at Killing Time, where she's been part of the scene for a decade, either opening, closing, or supporting artists like Silat Beksi. It's all about vibration and appreciation: it's lush minimal sounds for the dance floor.

Hailing from Moldova, Minube has crafted & refined quietly under the radar for the past decade, his own meticulously distinct and individual approach to the composition and sculpture of sound, creating his own unique unmistakable stamp. Sergiu’s music career as a DJ began all the way back in 2009 where his scope of performance was attracting people to his astounding selection of music. Over the years, he gathered experience, always focusing on delivering the most refined sound to the crowd, with an endless desire to ensure people leave the event with smiles and long- lasting memories.

In 2019 he decided to gather his skills and knowledge to bring them to the next level and delved into music production. The experience he gathered as a DJ led him to a very fluid and professional sound which is now world-widely known. Focusing strongly on connecting his ideas with the listeners mind, Minube’s storytelling through his music is easily read and profoundly warming.

Displaying his craft both individually via his mind-blowing DJ sets, as well as through his live project titled ‘sol_soundoflife’ where together with his partner they deliver an unforgettable journey through a polymorphic live set. Sergiu has been releasing his music on a plethora of well-known globally respected labels and has stacked up a solid list of vinyl releases that express his unmistakably individual sense of music.
