His artist name sounds like a magic spell – and a wizard he is for sure, taking himself and his listeners into a deeper state of mind with mysterious melodies, strange to evil spheres and a wicked, twisting, always grooving bassline. With his label Fractal Nebula Records, Berlin based Abralabim (aka Robert) brews compilations filled with audio potions to gather mind expanding, organic sounds, unlimited to any bpm range or style.

Recording of my DJ set from xXETEXx night at Hammahalle (Sisyphos), where I played from 04 to 07 on Sunday, 4.12.2022. and shared the stage with Josephine Wedekind, Herrmann Stöhr and Aka Nina. 

From my post, published on 23rd November:

"Rhetorical question. Did you know that for every story you share (with disgust, pleasure or disdain) about the success of a female producer / DJ in the scene that is based only or mostly on good looks, you ignore the majority of women on the scene. Women who have built their careers and success, apart from their good looks, only on persistence, hard work, quality, a good ear and excellent selection and technique. It is time that, in addition to insisting on gender equality, we also talk about the negative approach and attitude we have. 

With great pride, honor and happiness I will share the DJ booth with three women with a capital W who have made me dance, cheer up and laugh on more than one occasion."

I am dropping my new set Uranus, recorded last weekend in Prague - thanks CTRL ART DEL Records for inviting me! 🙂
The process of making this set was selecting tracks from my favourite labels and artists, choosing from hundreds and hundreds of tracks, for the last weeks, while being busy as fuck with work. Than literally buying and downloading the rest of the tracks in the bus on the way to the party. All the tracks are new and never played by me. I estimate there are over 40 tracks in 95 min set.

And now is the time for some weird esoteric shit. 

Uranus in the context of electronic music, psychedelics and the change

From astrological point of view, Uranus breaks down traditional boundaries and expand consciousness. Similar like when you drop acid, get naked and run from the illegal warehouse technoparty to the city centre, escaping the cops while screaming you are Jesus. All that while your grandma is watching you live on TV.

Uranus seeks to disrupt the status quo and bring about radical change. For example, the psychedelic and hippie movement of the 1960s coincided with Uranus-Pluto. People were hungry for change and spirituality. And the old farts in the government were not happy about that.

The rise of electronic music in the late 20th century coincided with key Uranian transits and cultural shifts towards embracing new, synthetic sounds, pushing the boudaries of what is musically conventional. Techno is still weird for mainstream, people dont realize it is a technology for getting into the altered state - by dancing and vibrations. 

On November 19th, Pluto moves into Aquarius, where it will remain for the next 20 years.
And Aquarius is ruled by Uranus.

Pluto is a transpersonal planet, which will impact everyone, even the Average Joe not believing this "esoteric bullshit".
Its up to us, we can choose brighter future. Or dystopia and weird technocracy.

You can choose to call this esoteric bullshit, but the change does not really give a fuck about the opinion of us, "rational humans" driving tanks that burn 500 litres of rotten dinosaurs per 100 kilometres, while we record that on gopro :-)

Triptofun was drawn into the world of electronic music in 2004 by listening to a DnB/jungle CD of one czech soundsystem and by his first freetekno party in 2005. Soon he discovered psytrance and since then he has been involved in both techno and psytrance subcultures. The fascination and inspiration of altered states of consciousness, music and dance continues to this day in both his musical and professional life.
He moved from making hardware freetekno to DJing and in 2011 joined the south bohemian psytrance group Kamasutra. His night sets on the mainfloor are mostly techno/ darkprog/ dark psytrance. However, as a multi-genre DJ, he obsessively selects tracks for his sets on a daily basis in genres such as deep dubstep/ bass, deep house, DnB, hip-hop/ trip-hop, garage, wave, ambient, etc., so that he can play at any time of the day according to the concept of the event. 
He has played in NZ, Australia, Latin America, England and several countries in Europe.
He has organized countless musical events both with Kamasutra and solo (Sohma records) or with other groups.
