In an attempt to further my skills in using Furnace, I decided to cover a song from one of the Burnout games. This one in particular stood out to me - it was seemingly simple, and the basic but comforting instruments used in it touched my eardrums precisely, almost like how my driving skills precisely crash into oncoming traffic that I somehow don't see in Paradise City. The cadence of the vocals and how they're pitched throughout the song, along with their vibratos, was interesting to try and emulate. The challenging parts, as usual, were the guitars and the chords used in it. But I think I'm getting just a little better at figuring out what note in these loud chords are being played. There was also volume control, which I think I think I do still kind of struggle with, but it might have turned out well here. Maybe? It sounded fine when I listened to it, but I don't know...
Either way, I want to keep working on Furnace. I miss Famitracker a lot, but I like the progress I'm making in learning how to make Genesis music. Maybe I'll make my own original piece one day? Or maybe expand out to other genres to see how I can do something like that? I see more covers in the future, though. Definitely. It'll be a while before I can upload again. But when I do, I promise to make it something good. In the meantime, do take care.
