Devilishly Dreadful

Spoken word meets penny dreadful horror. Resting Place is the first in my series Devilishly Dreadful—a chilling revival of Sweeney Todd’s grisly world. Performed in my own voice with layered sound effects, this piece blends gothic atmosphere, grotesque humor, and the rhythm of my original poetic form, the Chameleon Cantos.

Devilishly Dreadful: Resting Place

Step into the cloister of shadows. Unholy Loopholes is the second part of my Devilishly Dreadful series, inspired by the 1840s penny dreadful The Black Monk; or, The Secret of the Grey Turret.

This recording blends my own narration with original AI-generated voices: the ghastly specter known as Father Blight, and a woman’s incantation echoing behind him. Dry, unembellished reading collides with corrupted liturgy, where even the Lord’s Prayer unravels into blasphemy.
