Hey all! I'm a freelance trumpet player and music educator local to the Greater Boston music scene. 

Being a recent grad of the Music Ed and Performance departments of UMass Lowell, you can catch me out performing at various venues spread throughout downtown Lowell almost any night of the week within in the prospering live music scene there that is gaining stature by the day!

I'm a current member of the bands listed and briefly described below:

Ben Knight Band: A 6-piece rock band who plays all over Boston and the surrounding areas. We rock the house down wherever we play and are quickly gaining a strong reputation!

PK and the Mighty Seven : We are Boston's own Jamiroquai Cover band!!!! Enough said? It's hip, as well as super fun!

Roxo Gato : This group is a 6-8 piece Funk group that is really taking off! We focus on a lot of material that I compose as well compositions by other groups members and we play many covers as well. I love funkin' it up!

heyhowR_ya? : We're a modern jazz quintet that focuses on learning original material and covers from all genres and then messing around with them to make them our own.

In addition to these four groups I play in regularly, I also have rotating rhythm section members for the Jake Galloway Trio : A jazz trumpet trio that plays functions from Cocktail hours at weddings to high-end restaurants that desire such music.

You can frequently find me sitting in with a jazz/hip-hop trio that goes by Slam Kitchen ft. D Blaze.

I teach at the Music Academy of Chelmsford, Westford Academy, and am in the process of starting my own business for private instrumental instruction that currently is called "Traveling Trumpet Lessons by TrumpetJakeG."
