Vor einiger Zeit spielten @austrianapparel bei einem Techno Sonntag in der Arena in Wien und lernten dort @atlantik kennen, die regelmäßig im Berliner Club @sisyphos-berlin spielen. „Und die haben uns einfach empfohlen“, erzählt das österreichische Duo. „Die machen auch so live, und da mag man sich eben. Mittlerweile war es schon unser dritter Gig im Sysiphos und es war wiedermal herrlich.“ Ihr gesamtes Equipment war natürlich dabei, und „wir haben wie immer ohne Laptop 100 % live abgerockt." (...)

„Die Brachland war meine erste eigene Veranstaltung in Würzburg, nachdem ich aus Leipzig hierher gezogen bin – und so auch einer meiner ersten Gigs“, sagt @pierre_remy. Primär wollte der Produzent und DJ in Würzburg etwas Neues schaffen und ausdrücken, wie ihn die Musik in der letzten Zeit in Leipzig beeinflusst hat. „Daher habe ich mit den Tracks eine Mischung aus melodischem Techno und Tech-House erzeugt.“ Die Stimmung während des Auftritts habe ihn „ziemlich vom Hocker gehauen. Wenn man zum ersten Mal in einer neuen Stadt veranstaltet und gleichzeitig spielt, sind die Gefühle schon sehr gemischt, und ich war wesentlich aufgeregter als sonst." (...)

Meric: I may sound old fashioned however, I give importance on creating a beginning and an end feeling at my artistic productions. It is a total composition for me. For example, this mix is going to catch you thoughtful while sitting at a couch, then carry you to a mystic dance journey by imposing energetic and deep feelings. trndmsk: Rammö, what can we look forward to in the next few minutes?

Rammö: You can look forward to listening to the set! Would be great already Ah! If not, for the lazy ones, you are missing a special unusual podcast made with so much löve! A very positive podcast, full of weird stuff, beatless tracks and samples, upcoming gems and groovy based tracks. Tracks energizing me for the day. An audiophiliac’s dream adventure

When did you record the set? What surrounded you at the time?

I luckily recorded the set in front of a beautiful sunset. I am at the moment stuck in Thailand while I was touring in Asia. I kinda want to go back home in Europe but I can’t complain here - so let quarantaine last a little longer! 

How did you choose the tracks? Did you make a plan before?

I never really prepare any set or gigs but I received a lot of promos lately especially from artists who don’t get the exposure they truly deserve yet. (what shame) cause their productions are next level. 
So I was so glad to be able to include them during this sunset session!

Do you have a favorite track included in the mix? 

Big shoutout to Axel Boman for releasing such a special track. On repeat.

What three songs do you tend to use in your current sets?

Definitely "Eyes of my Mind" by Axel Boman and the gems I was previously talking about, by Bongbeck, Edvin Camema and Robot Love.

What are your near future projects? Are you working on any other projects?

The main project is to come back to Amsterdam or France for now. Pretty tough project at the moment. Taking this crisis and rough time to work a lot on productions in an improvised funky studio here in Thailand. Finalizing projects (finally), working on a new EP and a track for the upcoming Klassified VA. I was working on a cool project I always dreamt about, that combines a wide range of different art together with electronic music. However the virus was not a big fan of the project I guess, and it will be postpotned to next year. Can't wait to share this with you!

trndmsk: Swann, what can we look forward to in the next few minutes?

Swann Decamme: I played a set, deeply sunset, progressively writing a 2-hour story. You can see the sunset progression in the Facebook video to be discovered on my fan page.

When did you record the set? What surrounded you at the time?

I recorded the set live from my home in London. You can see me in the living-room with my little garden in the background.

How did you choose the tracks? Did you make a plan before?

I always mix in harmony. I like to analyse the keys of tracks and create a real story with tensions and moments of relief. I start by setting aside a few tracks in the desired style, and step-by-step, I build my selection, intro and outro first. From there everything flows easily.

Do you have a favorite track included in the mix?

Waow it's difficult to say ! I love them all. Still, I must confess I played 2 amazing demos I received for my label Curiosity Music. There they are for you to discover.

What three songs do you tend to use in your current sets?

I rarely play the same tracks twice. I prefer to mix freshly between gigs. I appreciate it better, I prefer creativity and challenges to the routine of the same old tracks.

What are your near future projects? Are you working on any other projects?

I am currently working on many music projects. Next month I've got an EP released by Miami Magician On Duty including 4 superb remixes. Stay tuned! In June, will come an EP produced with my friend Djena for Parisian label, Time Has Changed with a remix by the boss of the label Timid Boy. I really look forward to meeting the public again to share my music. See you soon! Love!

Shepherd: Well, in a way I'm curious myself. Always when I release a recording and let go of it, I listen to it in a new way than in the process of making it. The podcast is deep, groovy, made for home listening but also has some strong hints to the dancefloor. I surprised myself by including so many tracks with singing or vocal samples. There are loads of interesting beats & flairs and I'm amazed by the producers who created the tracks. (...)
