You wouldn’t find pearls on the beach. If you really want a pearl you will have to dive for it. For over five years we’ve been browsing through boundless seas and branched forests to find powerful gems leaving a sharp impression while taking us on a journey. They infatuate, fascinate and delight the listeners falling in love with the works of art. What makes the quest most fun: the more unknown the artists, the more truthful the productions. After all, it is music that makes us do things we usually wouldn’t dare. It is a whirl we really like to jump into like a big and swinging web of silk and sorrow.

Following the first compilation – “A Collection of Unreleased Pearls” – is trndmsk’s second release this summer: 22 tracks by musicians, producers and composers dedicated to electronic music. @benn-finn, @braunbeck, @coss, @vogelperspektive, @emilberliner, @pierre-remy-hertzel & @thelatestson, @drivepitcher, @janhertz & @rocko-garoni feat. @deeryona, @jonassaalbach, @nikolasnoam, @raumakustik, @rene-bourgeois, @casanova_tony, @captain-illy-noize, @unfugsrumpelkammer, @whatevertunes & @cubus, @elfgrin-berlin feat. Groovio, @borkaandthegang, @zusammenklang, @david-hasert feat. Ice, @unueberlegt and @djstevenmoeller are the artists drawing us into different spheres- thanks to their summer pearls.

Perlen liegen nicht am Strand. Wenn du eine Perle begehrst, musst du dafür tauchen. Seit mehr als fünf Jahren tauchen wir in unendlichen Meeren, durchforsten verzweigte Wälder, um Musikstücke zu finden, die einen auf eine Reise mitnehmen und tief beeindrucken. Sie betören, faszinieren und entzücken ihre Hörer, die sich in diese Kunstwerke verlieben und sich in ihnen verlieren. Und das schönste an dieser Suche ist: je unbekannter die Künstler, desto mehr sprechen die Exemplare für sich. Die Musik ist es nämlich, die uns Dinge tun lässt, die wir uns sonst nicht wagen würden. Sie ist ein Wirbel und ein großes, schwingendes Netz aus Seide und Sorge, in das wir uns gerne fallen lassen.

Nach der ersten Compilation – “A Collection of Unreleased Pearls” – kommt passend zum Sommer die zweite Veröffentlichung von trndmsk raus: 22 Stücke von Musikern, Produzenten und Komponisten, die sich der elektronischen Musik verschrieben haben. Benn Finn, Braunbeck, coss, Die Vogelperspektive, Emil Berliner, Pierre Remy & The Latest Son, Drivepitcher, Jan Hertz & Rocko Garoni feat. Deeryona, Jonas Saalbach, Nikolas Noam, Raumakustik, René Bourgeois, Tony Casanova, Illy Noize, UNFUG, What Ever & Cubus, Elfgrin feat. Groovio, Borka & The Gang, Zusammenklang, David Hasert feat. Ice, Unueberlegt und Steven Moeller sind es, die uns in andere Sphären holen – dank ihrer Sommerperlen. “A Collection of Unreleased Summer Pearls” wird am Freitag, den 26. Juni 2015 erscheinen.

As February 29th only comes around every four years, we thought it befitting of this latest fleeting appearance to celebrate with yet another fine release from our burgeoning Selador stable. Be rude not to, right?

And what better way than with the label debut of Mr Tom Peters. German born, Berlin based, Tom has already released music through such esteemed channels as German heavyweight labels, Kompakt & Get Physical and so naturally, we’re very pleased he’s decided to add Selador to his already impressive résumé.

Featuring two very different but equally strong original productions, the tribal tech of ‘Two Of Us’ with it’s wonky synth surges and sensuous vocal inflections to the more forceful peak time techno flavourings of ‘Restless’. It really is a double header not to be missed. 

On remixing assignments, rising German star, Tim Engelhardt sprinkles his own magic dust over ‘Two Of Us’ whilst Mexican duo Climbers step up to the plate with a stonking interpretation of ‘Restless’. Basically, it’s a win win situation. Just the way we like it. 

So.. Happy Leap Day everyone. Don’t say we didn’t spoil you ;-)

Apparently We Had A Very Good Time : Villain

We begin a new serie of remix EPs in between our original 12"releases.

We invited a team of champions to remix "ILPI001 - Pigmalião" and we are proud to present to you the debut EP "ILPR001 - Pigmalião Remixed"

Starting by the head honcho from "Themes For Great Cities", monsieur Lucas Croon remixing the track Aurora, spicing the groove with some beautiful classic drum machines and trippy atmospheric layers. M.RUX's wonderful version of Zingili transports you to an unexpected, soft and intriguing territory while flirts with syncopated schizophrenic grooves. Ground's minimalistic version of Baskéda jumps into a hypnotic acidic vibe full of surprises and intense for the dance floor peak. And "nel gran finale" Rodion's cyberpunk version of Bahiafro has an imposing strong bass line attitude and futuristic layers.
