The 4 Elements of nature, with their freedom and wisdom, take us to places of synergy with Mother Earth and human spiritual enrichment. Wind is freedom, Earth is balance, Water represents the ability to flow and Fire is passion and energy. Conceived by the talented Spanish producer UNAM in collaboration with the awesome singer Lola Nahual, together with a team of unique creative magicians such as; Mom, Thommie G, Sangeet, Lev Tatarov, and Serkan Eles, los 4 Elementos is a diverse and deep journey to enjoy.
The track ¨Los 4 Elementos¨ highlights the deep voice of Lola Nahual, along with ¨Its just a ride¨ inspired by Bill Hicks and one of his famous monologues, after that ¨Dragon Azul¨ is dedicated to the mystical flight and the life of this mythical creature plus all the other remixes which come with their unique taste each one of them. Fresh from the success of SOULS Vol.1 in April, Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion gears up for the next edition of the series this October. Rebellion presents SOULS Vol.2 continues the spiritual theme, featuring appearances from label-regulars and debutantes alike in the form of Yulia Niko, Mommo G, Cristina Lazic, Paride Saraceni, Landikhan and MoM.

The VA’s first collaborative effort gets things underway, as Yulia Niko and Mommo G’s It’s All In My Mind manifests as a spacey dancefloor cut thanks to an infectious bassline and hypnotising vocals. Leap Year arrives next courtesy of Cristina Lazic, who delivers a stripped-back, minimal leaning number packed full of dubby undertones, before Paride Saraceni’s Without Your Love ups the pace with wholesome pads and punchy, groove-filled drum patterns. Power Of Life brings proceedings to a gentle close, with Landikhan and MoM’s collaboration taking the form of an emotive, slow building number that brims with ethereal lyrics. 

Russia’s Yulia Niko has become an internationally respected artist thanks to her residency at Watergate Berlin as well as several standout productions on Crosstown Rebels, Get Physical Music and her own TochnoTechno and Live Vibe imprints. Argentina’s Mommo G is a DJ, producer, writer, painter, singer and actor, based in Berlin. Italian-talent Cristina Lazic is a regular on the international DJ circuit, performing at venues such as Egg London, Opium Dublin and Armani Privé Milan. She is also a member of shesaid.so, the world’s community of women in the music industry. Fellow Italian Paride Saraceni has made a name for himself through releases on Tronic, Truesoul and Selador Recordings to name a few. Spanish mainstay Landikhan is a resident of WooMooN Ibiza, head of Thunder Nights Madrid and has appeared on labels including Natura Sonoris, Stil Vor Talent and many more besides. Esteemed Spaniard producer MoM has found a welcome home on Crosstown Rebels and UYSR in recent times, a testament to his skills as a producer. He is also one of the founders of HoMe Agency.

Für die beiden Musiker ist der Track eine kleine Prinzessin, die eine kleine Kiste besitzt, in der sich das Licht der Sonne versteckt und mit der sie selbst die dunkelsten und traurigsten Seelen zum Strahlen bringen kann. (...) Der Spanier @mommusic fand das Original so wunderschön, dass er einen Remix kreierte. „Ich war schon ein großer Fan von Paul Valentin und jetzt noch viel mehr von Ameli Paul“, sagt MoM. After gaining widespread industry acclaim for its original release four years ago, ​Smek by Tunisian duo ​Ÿ​uma will be reimagined this November with a bespoke remix package. Releasing on Crosstown Rebels, the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, SIS and MoM will be on duty to provide three distinctive remixes of the original.

Ricardo Villalobos leads the charge. Highlighting the signature sound with which he has become best known, ​Ÿ​uma’s hypnotic vocals converge on stripped-back kicks whilst subtle pads sing gently in the background. SIS’ remix comes next, blending tribal-laced drums with gentle acoustic guitar tones as whispering hats shimmer softly throughout, before MoM closes proceedings on a more ambient note, retaining the original’s folk-themed essence with emotive, slow-building percussion.
Ricardo Villalobos ​has been at the forefront of electronic music for over two decades. An eminent figure in the minimal techno sphere, releases on Perlon and his own Sei Es Drum helped cement his standing as one of the genre’s true heavy-hitters. Burak Sar AKA ​SIS is another of the minimal scene’s most long-standing artists​. ​Notable productions in the form of ​Trompeta ​and ​Nesrib ​were swiftly picked up by Groove Magazine, who went on to vote him ‘Producer Of The Year’ for ​Nesrib and award him ‘Track Of The Year’ for ​Trompeta​. Spanish-born ​MoM has garnered a reputation for sonic storytelling thanks to his bespoke approach to music, with releases on Still vor Talent, DeNature and a collaboration with Burning Man regular Acid Pauli further establishing his unique and varied sound.
