Moodmusic label head Sasse compiled the latest Eclectic compilation that features ten cuts with different moods and vibes and gracefully moves from one sub-genre to the other. Gemini Brothers' track 'Jovial' smoothly fits into the potpourri of music Sasse put together. Deep synth chords gather themselves in the slightly acid touched track that is driven by a lush baseline and sets not only the tone of the track but the entire compilation.

LNOE 115 comes courtesy of Spanish duo @depaart. Leading with "Migrate", an expanse of earthy percussion rhythms over tribal drones and syncopated drum rhythms that build slowly with arpeggiating synths and haunting vocals. "Malvants" drives in with a deep, steady 4/4 kick and a subby, swelling low end. Tight drum programming and freaky synth loops brighten and subdue between the deeper sections of the track.
 
"Sunk" plays melodically with interjections of synth lead across a slow-moving drum groove of Depaart’s organic, signature sounds. The drop builds into the final section with an expressive synthesizer that dominates the forefront of this stellar record. The package is neatly topped off with a blazing electro remix of the lead track from Kiwi who reworks with force.

The originals of the twelfth EP of the label are provided by a really talented artist from the UK, called His. Creator. The three detailed and well balanced originals, of which ‘Nightshift’ is the title track, are accompanied by a remix of the Hungarian Justrice.

The first track, ‘Nocturnal Eye’, already starts off with a lot of tension and sets the tone. The track has a compelling build-up towards the middle part of the track. Afterwards it slowly comes down without getting boring once, all guided by what we could name a signature piano synth. 

The title track, ‘Nightshift’, will make you fly for sure. The lead will bring you to some higher atmospheres, again guided by this piano synth. The track has an outstanding and surprising arrangement, which is mainly noticeable in the break, from which the lead rises again. 

REM, is probably the most powerful track of the EP with the heaviest lower end of the four. On the lower end a cutting synth is floating, which makes the full composition suitable for the dancefloor.

At Justrice’s interpretation of REM, he managed to bring in a lot of groove with his signature and remarkable percussion. The extended break gives the track some more tension, nevertheless it still stays very suitable for the dancefloor, maybe even more. The remix brings us to the end of a strong and well composed EP.
