We are particularly looking forward to our next release, as it also represents something of a personal turning point in terms of sound.

Our Swiss buddy @planetcaravanofficial contributes two very stable original tracks, which @pullichomba and @at_ric have made their own in a splendid way, in order to give the tracks, which are already very suitable for the dance floor, their own touches.

The title track of the EP called "Circuit Bending" is characterized by a dreamy and bouncy sound that fits perfectly into our loot scheme of the last years.

The second title of the EP "A Glitch" convinces with snotty vocals and a dark groove, which you will hear more often on our label in the future.

As always, we would like to thank all artists involved for the great cooperation and refer to the first-class mastering of Haunted Water, as well as the brilliant artwork by Kilian Van de Water.

"Polvere Di Napoli," come from a walk made by my recording studio, located in Monteoliveto 75, towards the city. On a journey without the time and a precise destination, I meet a Naples seen perhaps for the first time or never seen at all. A walk never happened or happened only in my blurred and clouded thoughts. 
The reflection of the mystery of this city, the whispers from the balconies, ancient stories that smell of the yellow tuff that supports the buildings, the dust that you do not see but is there. 
Because if you stop for a moment and close your eyes in those narrow alleys, you will see that dust rising among the voices coming from stories of ordinary people, each with its own burden, but you will feel them familiar because very close to you, to your experience, to that of all.

This track describes the feeling which I had after a long summer with a lot of (daytime) work, playing/attending festivals and - last but not least - making some new music. Each is great on it's own, but at that time it felt as it was too much to do without enough time to spend with my friends, my family and enjoying nature/doing sports. It felt like riding an endless rollercoaster - funny in the beginning, but the more rounds it took the more I liked it to stop :)

Jurassic 5 is an American alternative hip hop group formed in 1994 by rappers Charles Stewart (Chali 2na), Dante Givens (Akil), Courtenay Henderson (Soup aka Zaakir), Marc Stuart (Marc 7); and disc jockeys Mark Potsic (DJ Nu-Mark) and Lucas Macfadden (Cut Chemist). The six piece crew that was formed, came out of the Los Angeles venue Good Life. Following a cascade drop of singles that kept everyone on their toes this past couple of months, time has come to unveil Fabian Krooss' eagerly awaited debut long-player, 'Colorfuel'. A portmanteau word for the vivid colourful spectrum that infuses Krooss' blends and that role of energetic provider it plays, 'Colorfuel' oozes a vibrant mix of dance floor-ready dynamism and effervescing curiosity, packed with surprises at every corner. Completed and finished in the Autumn of 2023, Krooss' debut album takes you on a smooth journey from start to finish, showing the variety in his productions, spanning from melancholic to uplifting, playful to funky and deep to chill. Starting with the soulful 'Oh Darlin', Krooss steers us on the path of laid-back Chicagoan rhythms and feelgood Afro soulfulness, weaving solar-powered sensitivity with vaporous floor dynamics to hypnotic effect. A further balmy slice of atmospheric electronica tinged with hints of dream-pop and balearic house, "Staring" cruises at its own tranquil pace across colour-shifting horizons and gently jagged reliefs. Pumping out an exquisite blend of sluggish house jack alongside archetypal Andalusian flavours and bass-driven manoeuvres, 'Phoenix' (feat. Frida Darko) ticks all the boxes of a festival season-ready chugger, whereas 'Move Your Booty' relies on a slightly more low-slung melody and further languid swing. All in bounce and playfulness, 'Your Soul' pulls out a bass-heavy chassis mounted with EBM synths' firepower, nostalgic riffs and orient-flavoured melodic flights, injecting a sense of spiritual elevation to its solid club-focussed engineering. Drawing in a more subdued palette of rhythmic elements, sprinkled with an eerie melody and stripped-back synth funk, 'Inside of Me' makes for a perfect transition track, with 'Manaki' going a further jagged route, as Krooss draws further deep into the Italo style, infusing his stellar arps and brittle piano chords with a thick FX gravy. Contorting itself at the junction of straightforward jack and a more prog-minded construction that seem tailored for stadiums, 'Elasticity' (with Atish) finds Krooss at his most precise and adroitly versatile. Beaming up unadulterated joy and sunrays across its six minute-ish ride, 'Coquin' bounces back and forth, ushering us into a jam-packed hacienda where the thick volutes of freshly lit havanas coalesce with the exhilarating scent of ron. ‘Music is my anchor, my passion, my favorite form of expression’, Fabian says, adding: ‘I want to surprise’. It’s this belief in freedom that drives his work as an artist, unafraid to experiment and craft a profoundly personal sound in the process. A juxtaposition often sits at the heart of his tracks, as Fabian sprinkles lush or mischievous melodies over springy, sometimes elastic and other times static rhythms, nodding to organic and minimal house at once. It’s Fabian’s deep-rooted feeling for sound that fuse these disparate motifs into an irresistible whole as his productions unfold and flourish with intricate details and surprising touches, always united under a tight groove.

All of these addictive attributes are equally omnipresent when Fabian helms the booth – with a nonchalance rooted in pure joy that’s perceivable in an instant. Here, again, he intrinsically becomes the storyteller, weaving an authentic narrative while turning the room upside down. Whether that’s with a sunny selection at Sisyphos Strand, peak-time power at Bucht der Träumer, Wilde Möhre or Feel Festival or a dubbed-out affair for Afterhour Sounds. While by no means a recent presence in Berlin with past gigs at favourites like Kater Blau, Sisyphos, or Ritter Butzke, the last years took Fabian further afield to festivals like The Monastery, Bucht der Träumer, Feel, scene highlight ADE or shows around the world in Oaxaca, Tulum, Zanzibar, New York, Miami, Washington, Seattle, Istanbul, Amsterdam and many more.
