@hokimusic is a new collaborative project from Montreal producer and composer Varti Deuchoghlian and Australian vocalist and songwriter Brent McCormick. With nearly two decades of combined experience in music, the pair have come together to create an exhilarating album titled "Strangest Of Us All". The 11 track album showcases their stellar instrumental skills and songwriting abilities as well as their inimitable creative touch. "Strangest Of Us All" fuses the finest elements of electronic music with influences from the worlds of indie, pop and rock in HOKI's own unique, forward-thinking blend of emotive electronic fusion.

Solemn Eye - Club Edition 001

Premiere: Solemn Eye - Carte Blanche (Sahar Z Remix) [70hills]

The latest release on Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint finds the label presenting the third instalment of its critically acclaimed ‘Correlation’ series. Conceptualized in 2017 with the intent of showcasing cutting edge electronic music, the inaugural edition featured a unique blend of rising talents along with industry veterans, resulting in a cohesive fusion of artists from across the world. 

At the time the label’s music policy was undergoing a shift, emerging into borderless realms and showcasing a broader spectrum of electronica. 

Unveiled two years later, the second instalment furthered the label’s borderless vision with ten selections that touched on deeper, more contemporary sounds to laid back techno, all the way through to the label's progressive house roots. 

Now looking to make the series a biannual event, edition three continues the journey, leaving no stone unturned with a veritable smorgasbord of sound, covering a wide array of sonic space and featuring (in order of appearance) Ercos Blanka, TD, Gavin Rochford, Beije, amháin, Fermata Duomo, Dio S, MATE 0000 and Deepshader. 

Another unforgettable musical journey from Sound Avenue, one which perhaps foreshadows some future projects to come.
