Hello sunshine! Spring is here and it's time to celebrate with a brand new Seasons EP. 

Familiar concept; five tracks by five different artists in the progressive house genre. But what's unique about this Spring 2022 EP is that none of the featured artists have ever released on the MNL label before.

We're happy to welcome on board André Moret (Brasil), Ucleden (Germany) and a trio of artists from Argentina: Facundo Borras, Rodrigo Kesovija and Martin Urdinez.

Oleg Espo and Boume make their return within the Manual family with the release of their brand new single 'Svadhistana' on Manual Deep - having earlier collaborated on the 'Spaceship EP' which was released on Manual Music last year.

'Svadhistana' is a moody and deep downtempo track, very mystique and organic sounding. Next to the original mix it comes in a remix version by the mysterious Swami Harami as well. 

Two tunes suitable for meditation as well as altering your state of mind on the dance floor.

Andrey Uchvat makes an immaculate MNL debut with 'Figment', a deep funky progressive house groover. Super infectious!

On the flip side Argentinian artists Agustin Ficarra and Rodrigo Lapena have joined forces on remix duties. They maintain the deep vibe of the original with their more stripped down interpretation. Very intelligent sounding.

Sunny and warm sounds, the relaxing voices of kids and an on-point bass line. Welcome back Budakid with "Rhizome" which could be the late-summer-hit with it's intense soundscapes and message. "Matahari" feat. Sterioa is more four to the floor with some spacey sounds and wide open keys. Nordfold is the partner in crime for "Granny" which is starting slow and mysterious. The whole Ep is a sound experiment full of unusual sounds and effects, enjoy the trip.

The latest release by the Mexican avant-garde label Akumandra is founder Sainte Vie’s three track auditive voyage: From Desolate Places and Forgotten Times. Going beyond previous experimentation with sound assemblage and sampling from non-western musical traditions, Sainte Vie crafts his signature mesmerizing soundscapes by combining dreamlike synth textures, monumental drops and vibrant melodies that feel deeply melancholic. Insistent arpeggios and expansive build ups bind the tracks together in an ebb and flow of dynamic energy.

High Seas 
Overlaid synth patterns, like waves, propel us into a mixed-percussion drop that settles on a harmonic calm before another surge of synth arpeggios drive us farther along into the thrilling sensation of voyage.

Whale
Disembodied vocals, like cetaceans communicating, echo each other, creating a ghostly undercurrent to the vigorous percussion and futuristic synth arpeggios.

Darko
Backed by an eerie melody and punctuated by a lead-heavy bass drum, a deep, guttural voice plunges us into the dark flow of time.

Spectral in theme and profoundly engaged with the sensorial quality of music, Sainte Vie’s EP transports the listener to a place that feels distant like uncharted waters, yet familiar like a memory.
