Alex Niggemann’s AEON label mirrors the peak time DJs sets that the supremely talented Berliner plays, staying focused on conjuring up the spirit of classic and timeless house and techno, updating it and creating new boundless possibilities for the future.

The teasing, tension-building energy of the super- smooth “Stellar”, bears all the hallmarks of an artist who is at the top of his game. Alex Niggemann is a master of capturing and encompassing elements of darkness, mystery and uplifting melancholic beauty in his subtle and spacious creations. There aren’t enough cutting- edge artists out there who are bold enough to breathe life into their productions with true emotion. “Asterism” steers an equally subtle melancholic path, before morphing into a stunning rollercoaster ride of a track, firing with exuberant, emotive energy and desire. To complete this package, “Asterism” is treated to a remix from the uninhibited perspectives of Belgium’s exceptional rising star and kindred spirit, Locked Groove.

For those people with open minds and open ears, electronic music doesn’t really have borders – blurring the boundaries between house and techno is a given – creativity and experimentation without restrictions and
expectations is what allows artists to make exceptional music that becomes timeless and treasured.

AEON references back to Alex Niggeman’s roots – the music which inspired him to start his career as a DJ and producer – and was created as a platform to release music that stands for quality and originality. Music that fits perfectly into peak-time sets, without being too obvious, without being just functional, with multiple musical dimensions. The “Stellar EP” is the next outstanding instalment.

Together from birth, two brothers united by their passion for music and more, Pongo is the latest sound evolution of Giovanni Bruni and Daniele Bruni. Growing up with a very similar musical culture, handed down in turn by their parents, the two brothers have always shared their art projects together. Giovanni started playing as a DJ in the early 2000s now enjoying success in the most famous clubs of the clubbing scene in Tuscany. Soon, his younger brother Daniele follows the same steps as supporting him in DJ sets and creating their first music projects together. In 2011, together with Luca L. and Elia C. founded the brand Yuma Recordings.In addition to the  label ,Yuma began to be known for the club event, Yuma Nights, and in 2013 the collective Yuma created the Vibe Club, a place that offered innovative sound in Italian nightlife. The brothers felt that they had to make their most personal productions, with which they can open up more towards a wider musical landscape.
 After a period of evolution in the studio in 2016, it's time to get back on stage for Giovanni and Daniele with their new Pongo project that takes shape with Giovanni on vocals. Their strong influences that fuses electronics, soul, and techno have created this new way of approaching the dancefloor: the combination of evocative song and a powerful and refined set.

Twelve releases and a hefty load of aid to families across the African continent later, Lost on You - the first and only record label to give 100% of its profits to charity - is still knocking out the bombs, recently ranking amongst the top 38 of Beatport’s Melodic House & Techno labels. It’s Brigado Crew & Crisstiano who bring the boom boom boom on Lost on You’s latest release, a high-fidelity offering of oscillator
explorations designed for sunrise at the after party.

Opening track ‘Burning' features the haunting vocal whispers of Haptic - a first for the usually
instrumental club banger repertoire of LoY - and it works to soul-stirring effect. Haptic meanders through dark synthesised passages, his early 80s purring endowing the song with an electro feel, cutting through the silence and ushering in alleys of purple light from all directions. A big warm-up track.

Track two, ‘Rebellion' brings a Nico Jaar-esque wandering into play, as a cat smirks and strolls down the sidewalk. Juicy, bouncy and irrepressibly contagious, ‘Rebellion’ is a chugger, a one-punch slugger that keeps getting back up for more. This is real head-spinning tech house for the space-out-and-forget crew.

Track three is the eponymous ‘Elephants’, a safari-tinged adventure into the places where great beasts play. But what starts as a casual expedition soon devolves into madness as the mammalian world takes on a life of its own, Elephantine tribes encircle the only exits, and you give yourself up to nature.

The main feeling you take away from the Elephants EP is one of adventure not usually found in electronic music, of being guided somewhere - somewhere better - by invisible forces. And maybe there’s a parallel with the thousands of disadvantaged people who, because of this revolutionary record label, are now experiencing aid, however minor it may be. Summertime is upon us and here to usher in the season, albeit in rather strange circumstances, label boss Dave Seaman returns to notch up his 13th single for Selador.

Serving up a straight ace in the form of ‘Racket Abuse’, Dave brings his A-game, a raucous affair of growling electronics and sweet soul voices that combine to create the perfect modern juxtaposition. They say opposites attract! Fifteen love.

Canadian producer Jake Fairley, aka Fairmont then masterfully returns service with a thunderous outright winner of a remix. Cranking up the wonkiness to 11 and parading it’s muscle like one of Joe Exotic’s prowling tigers. Proper bad boy.

And finally Mexican starlet Theus Mago takes the third set, bringing his deft touch into play with a cleverly crafted take. Adding a little Spanish flair and a culture clash of influences, this one hits you where it hurts. New balls please!

And there you have it.. Game, set & match.
