Take me higher is our next release on Pipe & Pochet by Pandhora. It is an ode to escaping a world that is falling apart. This track is a straightforward critique of modern society. There is hope elsewhere, beyond Earth, so why not explore? It is meant as a positive statement focused on space exploration. The second track Moonlight is about contemplating the moon and the stars above. It's about being more present and self-aware. One can reach self acceptance and explore its consciousness to go through life and modern times in a happy and positive way. Both tracks propose a way to deal with one's inadequacies to modern existence. On one hand, it's possible to search for another planet to live on. On the other hand, one could search for peace within and accept the flaws of society through contemplation and experience awe in nature, particularly when looking up to the skies on a clear night. The tracks in this EP have been remixed by Hrag Mikkel and Jerry Spoon.

We are delighted to enter this happy season with our yearly compilation ‘Spring Vibes'. This year's already the 5th edition… Time flies!

Art Vibes has put together a killer lineup to satisfy the most demanding ears. A lot of new artists as well as your favorites from the label have outdone themselves… you're in for a treat!

We're welcoming Ben & Vincent from Köln, Germany, with ‘Alice', a downtempo piece of electronic music flavored with delicate touches of Eastern melodies. Mellow-sounding keys merge with tastefully overdriven electric guitars and traditional percussion. A musical delight for the lovers of slow-groovin' tracks.

MI.LA is back with yet another mystical tune: Katoa. Her music has been making waves in the organic house scene with acclaimed singles ‘Garmi', ‘Garden', and ‘Fiera'. Katoa is mid-tempo track with a resolute ethnic vibes brought by ethereal flute sounds and diffuse guitar licks. The harmony takes one on a journey through a yet-to-be defined sonic realm.

Greg Ochman has been a regular of the label, gifting us with his joyful tunes for the past few years. Once again, we are beyond happy to feature his unique work. ‘Transparent Sun' has a lovely progressive vibe that caresses the ears of listeners with its intricate fluffiness. A blissful blend of synthesizers, dreamy strings, and piano jams, filling one with positive emotions.

Thales Senses is joining Art Vibes all the way from Paraguay. ‘Flowers in Sea' is a melancholic Organic House track full of analog sounds and detailed textures. You are invited into a hypnotic and ecstatic sonic journey. So, are you coming along?

Souvnear's ‘True Sunshine' is a deep and progressive audio gem. The french artist is delivering quality beats with a distinctive emotional signature. With this single, he is conveying nostalgic feelings through a minimal yet powerful orchestration. The sound design is smooth and leaves space for listeners to immerse themselves into the lush soundscapes and start dreaming away.

Demetra and Lafreq are new to the label, making a remarkable entry with ‘Make Me Feel'. The House influenced track is featuring the angelic vocals of Indian singer Shrii. Their work is reminiscent of All Day I Dream's recent releases, with that distinctive nostalgic vibe you dance to as the last rays of sunlight shine onto happy ravers.

Art Vibes' co-founder Veytik has been evolving at the edge of Organic and Ethnic House. His sound is very often characterized by vintage sounding synthesizers and organic sonorities imported from diverse horizons. As an aficionado of the 70's and 80's, the New-York based producer created ‘Proton' with a patchwork of both old and new sounds… This one has been made for summer dance-floors and careful listeners alike.

9DEEP has released a myriad of timeless singles on Art Vibes. The producer is always bringing new sonorities to the mix, yet staying true to his addictive psychedelic house universe. With ‘Once In A Lifetime', 9DEEP is exploring mysterious soundscapes, somewhere one could get easily lost… and dive deep within.

Pandhora, known for their alchemical fusion of eclectic sounds, have teamed up with Tunisian multi-instrumentalist Youssef Meksi for their latest record, 'Tataouine'. The track, set to be released on Cafe de Anatolia, is a downtempo journey that evokes a sense of expansion and freedom through its use of shamanic-like vocals, world percussions, and psychedelic guitars.

'Tataouine' is a harmonious blend of organic and hybrid sounds, creating a colorful soundscape that sparkles with ethereal rays of light. Meksi's vocals, described as euphonic and powerful, add an extra layer of depth to the track, making it a true adventure for the senses.

The EP also includes remixes from Swiss producer Dandara and Berlin-based Zigan Aldi.

In Greek mythology, Icarus and Daedalus myth stands to represent man's ability to push himself to the limits, trying to achieve what was once thought as impossible.

Daedalus was a brilliant mind and found work in Crete as an architect ruled then by King Minos. He fell in love with Naucrate and they had a child whom they named Icarus. 
At some point, King Minos asked Daedalus to build a labyrinth for the Minotaur so he wouldn't escape and be hidden from everyone. 
He then kept Daedalus and Icarus prisoners in a high tower in Crete so they wouldn't reveal the secret of the labyrinth to anyone.

Considering their options to escape, it turned out the only way was by air. Deadalus conceived two pairs of wings with feathers he had gathered over time. He warned his son not to fly too close to the sun or sea. Icarus flew next to the sun and the wax holding the feathers together melted. He fell down into the sea and drowned. A little caution and some patience is necessary to achieve great things and we think the whole process of this EP describes just this.

After releasing a few singles on Anomaly Music Collective and Lump Records, Samaha crafted the Icarus EP over the past year and makes his debut on Art Vibes. With four original tracks, we aim at showcasing this promising producer from Seattle, USA. Coming from a trance background, Anthony has now shifted to the ethnic and worldly beats of house and techno.

‘Icarus', the main track of the EP is a solid progressive house collaboration with french duo Pandhora. Elaborate chord progressions and crafted chopped vocals blend with the delicate ethnic percussions and the gliding deep bass.

‘Sultan and the Scarab' showcases Samaha's trance background while presenting a lovely ethnic touch. In one ear, a booming royal horn synth to represent the Sultan, and in the other, a playful guitar to represent the Scarab. Combined with powerful drums, this will make any crowd dance through the night. 
Going further into Anthony's world, third track 'Asabiyyah' is a hypnotic electronic tale built up from trippy vocals and crazy arpeggios.

To finish off this EP on the right note, ‘Vendetta' echoes to ‘Icarus' as it presents the same vocal arranged differently in the background of the track. Samaha demonstrates once again his ability to compose unique melodies that stick to the ears.

For this EP, we are gifted with talented remixers who proposed an alternative to the original tracks, in their own refined styles. Spanish violonist and producer Alvaro Suarez as well as Athens based Lannka produced their own version of ‘The Sultan and The Scarab' while Gardens of Babylon's Vander worked on a psychedelic and deep version of ‘Asabiyyah'.

Welcoming back Serbian producer Tebra for yet another EP of his progressive ethnic music. A year has passed since we released Krug EP and it was just the right time for some new music from one of our favorite producers. This new record features two original tracks: Helm and Mesečina.

Helm opens up with a clean sounding string arpeggio revealing itself slowly throughout the introduction. Oud melodies take over for a few bars, setting an eastern scenery and eventually leading to a minimal yet heavy drop. The piece evolves with taste as we go through enriched versions of these three sections. The atmospheric textures and vocals of the break complete this sumptuous journey through eastern electronic beats. 

Mesečina emphasizes on oriental string melodies thoroughly supported by a bouncing low-end. Interesting ethnic percussions grooves and female vocals take over during the calmer parts of the piece, conveying a longing for new springs in remote places. 

This time, we are gifted with remixes from two experienced producers whose work we admire. Raw Main has crafted a groovy alternative to ‘Helm' sublimed with mind blowing synth arpeggios. 

Timboletti has once again succeeded at delivering an insanely well produced remix. Beats merge with synths in a beautiful and precise way. There is a lot to discover in this rich soundscape, making sure Timboletti's version will suit both home listeners and dancefloors enthusiasts.
