If this year has been hard on anyone it is those who unfortunately became a refugee. That is why we have decided to support those in need. Because there is very little we can individually do, our common goal is to raise money for various charities, so they can do the work we can not.

Because music has the ability to cheer up, heal and connect those who listen to it, it is music through which we hope to help. In the past year we have started collaborations with many artists. Every single one of them has made a masterpiece for us to put together into an album named “Ishtar”. This album is to celebrate the good things, heal and give hope to those who need it.

The Tel-Aviv-based producer, Amir Telem displays in his brand new EP two splendid originals full of exquisite melodic electronic sounds which range from Deep House to Techno. First, Amir Telem is serving us 'Born Again', exhibiting a pounding baseline, impeccable heart-warming synth riffs, and profound spiritual vocals which will elevate your spirit far away, deep into the cosmos. Following up next, we have the honor to welcome Marc DePulse to Mau House with his mesmerizing interpretation of the EP theme track. In his remix, the Leipzig-based producer kept the original's essentials, lowered the bpm a bit, and added his magical and powerful touch to give it an extremely pleasurable deep perspective. Coming up next is Amir Telem's collab with the Zürich-based producer, Don Son - 'Feel Like Myself'. A peak time trip that oozes groovy, obscure, and intoxicating melodies that collide with warm and fabulous vocals and synth riffs, forming a masterfully crafted peak time weapon. Next, we have the pleasure to welcome Ran Salman to our label. The Tel Aviv-based producer is serving us an extremely pleasurable instrumental remix for the EP theme track, with its rounded baseline, deep melancholic synth riffs, and a pinch of acidic sounds, which create a fascinating clubby adventure. Last but not least we are happy to welcome to Mau House the Istanbul-based producer Stefan Addo, which is closing the EP with his remix for Amir Telem and Don Son's Feel Like Myself'. In his interpretation, Stefan Addo is exhibiting a cinematic perspective for the EP theme track, with his punchy baseline, dreamy Xylophone sounds, warm dramatic synth riffs fused with fresh and misty electronic sounds.

Albanian Duo ‘Shkodra Elektronike’ announces their Debut EP, on Alt Orient, Revisiting 4 Albanian folk songs and reinterpreting them in their own way, Mixing synthesizer & Electronic beats with folk melodies and vocals,. Rearranged in a contemporary key and performed live in an old soundstage inside Tirana’s suburbs.

Turtulleshë (Wild Turtle Dove) is one of the most famous Albanian traditional tune. It’s a love song composed in the late 1930s by Ramadan Sokoli (music) and Qemal Draçini (lyrics).

Our remake of the song is driven by dark, synthetic textures, almost approaching techno territories. In the lyrics, we find a man struggling for his voice to reach his lover by “echoing to the farest mountains”. These words suggested us to play with pauses in singing and let the delays reflect each phrase.

While the rest of the melody is faithful to the original version, some harmonies and rhythmic parts have been rearranged in a more dramatic mood, inspired by the tragic faith of the composers.

Greek DJ @valeron made a remix of the song and gave it a groovy yet elegant dance house aura.

Welcome travelers, allow us to uncover for you the world of Eleusis, the second LP of the french multi-instrumentalist and producer Hajna, a full length 1 hour narrative conceptual adventure, a journey through the deepness of our minds in the form of a unique music alchemy to delight our ears.  

The Eleusinian Mysteries exist as a forgotten tale but also an initiatory journey. The invitation is for you to take a trip through the deep forests and temples of the ancient Greece, come and follow the path of sound through the night and uncover the answers you are seeking.  

Hajna, the artist, focuses on producing deep electronic magical stories, full of organic percussions, cinematic quotes and hypnotic rhythms that invite the listener to dive into an ocean of diverse textures and smooth beats, from downtempo to folktronica and subtle side-trips: a mystical journey from beginning to end.

Between some intense FIFA sessions and Jackson's new beach-libertine way of living, @thomassjackson and @theusmago found some time to make a bit of new music.

Live jamming at the beginning and then, in pandemic times via the world wide web, they managed to finish 4 tracks that are a showcase of all the things they like, hate and a bit more. After brilliant appearances on Correspondant, Futureboogie and Duro, Hard Fist is happy to welcome the first collaborative EP of those two major artists from the Mexican psychedelic contemporary scene.

From the tribal sounds of Don Palenque to the Trippy and weirdo vibes of El Venao, passing by a more straight to the dancefloor oriented track like Clubby, they have created an intense (remember FIFA) and vibrant EP

AdMaiora Music is back full-on force after almost a year hiatus with his biggest release to date. No one other than Cadenza co-founder Quenum lands on the label with "Bolero Soul" EP, bringing into play extraordinary studio wizards DeWalta and Cristi Cons, who are entrusted on the remix duties. 
 
Title cut "Bolero Soul" opens proceedings in a percussive-trippy fashion as tight drums meet gloomy analogue low hefty rumbles. Over its 14 minutes ride, the track constantly moves by offering tribal-chants, sinister atmospheres and pressing shakers in a swirl of madness. 
 
On the flip, Meander head honcho DeWalta welcomes us into his realm made of poignant synths and evocative, almost ancestral, vocal-pads. The grim mood of the original is still present, with the inward-looking motion translated by a descent, relentless breakbeat groove. 
 
The entitled "Mystic Full Moon" is yet another minimal-tunnel piece with Quenum able to make another brilliant use of hypnotic percussions and twisted sounds both free to move over edgy kicks and a lean, crisp groove. 
 
Rounding off the package, Romanian maestro Cristi Cons delivers two different versions. On the first one, delicate mystic synths lead the listener to a mesmerizing break before swingy drums and a bouncy bassline bring back up the track, whilst on the Sunrise mix gritty low-end frequencies and delicate rhythmic toms are mixed together with futuristic arps and synths, making of this one the next after-hours anthem.

For a lot of folks, recent times have put a new perspective on our surroundings. Some longed for sunny beaches in distant lands, some took up new hobbies, and most were confined to the spaces around them. And some, like Lowtopic, found themselves discovering their own neighborhood. Born & raised in this exact city, yet somehow still a stranger. Bunkering down gave him new insights to his surroundings, experiencing moments that might have been previously overlooked. These are the tales from the neighborhood of Maddalena in Genova, Italy.  

Raising his hometown flag high, Genova born-and-raised multi-talent family man Lowtopic opens his first album with a sweet and sober number, fluttering its way in gently before delivering a heavy warm drive. ‘Blu’ gives a small glimpse of what’s to come, like seeing a picture of a sunset you took, you are thrown back into that moment in time for a brief second. This is that, but over 5 minutes’ worth. A triumph of sound and emotion to say the least. The mood continues with the optimistic ‘Otago’, which plays out like a fond memory of an innocent time, and in fact could be inspired by such – we’ll never truly know. ‘Mate’ starts to take us into deeper waters, with a smooth low end pushing up delicate instrumentals and brazen brassy synth swells. We’ve come now to the title track, the namesake of the journey we find ourselves in. A lush soundscape of creamy tones and emotional rhythmic accents thrown in throughout. “Maddalena”. There’s a bittersweet fondness to be felt here, something that feels a lot like coming home.  We’re slowly brought back to earth with ‘Emi’, a gentle dive into a synthesizer dream and then waking up gently with a warm piano riff against a rising bed of percussive presence. Floating onto ‘Garcia’ we are shaken awake with a deliciously moody dance number. This is the late night breakfast, pancakes at midnight to shake things up a bit and set us up for a fantastic club night. If ‘Garcia’ was the setup, then ‘Neve’ is that club night – when all the right people are there at the right time. Magic happens, every time. Put that in a bottle and you’ve got ‘Neve’. Gorgeous strings, driving low end, brilliant flow… aka magic. Now finally, together with ‘Paoli’, we begin to ride off into the sunset across a dusty landscape. Cut the lights. Drop the bass. ‘Paoli’ delivers to us one more powerful dive into the depths of the night, one last satisfying starry car ride with the bass turned to 11. Full throttle, driving like we stole it.

  If this is life for Lowtopic now, then I can’t wait to see what life brings next. ‘Maddalena’ feels like more than home, it feels almost like family – if you were to put that feeling into music. Optimism, positivity, and love in the form of music.
