O'Tawa presents Dan Bay’s "Naturales" EP with truly inspiring re-interpretations from SEVN, AmuAmu and Ünam.

More than 500 years after Columbus reached the American continent, there are still many groups of the continent's original inhabitants that avoid contact and interaction with the foreign world Columbus brought with him.They are called by many different names: isolated tribes, un-contacted tribes, autonomous indigenous peoples, indigenous peoples in voluntary isolation. These are all terms that refer to indigenous peoples who live with little or no contact with other human societies. 

They do not form part of, or even know about, nation states, monetary economy and the global society. They are not controlled by the rules and regulations of the countries they happen to live within. If people from the world outside approach them, they either fight or flee further into the deep of the forest. They are the world's last truly independent indigenous peoples.

Inspired by a Tribal and Jungle feel this natural palette of percussions and deep basses is made rich with electronic sounds of textures and patterns.

This year we are celebrating the 15th anniversary of our label and on this occasion we have prepared several releases under the name "15 Years of Exotic".

Chapter 3 of the series comes with another four fresh remixes of tracks that have been released in recent years on Exotic Refreshment.

Third anniversary sampler starts with fresh enchanting estimua's remix of "When Acid Ate Ur Brain" by Sonya Rubleva & el.space. Next we can experience a beautiful downtempo remix from nohym of "Make This Right" by Sandeman & Leon Power. The second part of the release opens Arkay Koo with his fresh look at MI.LA's "Sun" - a mind-blowing journey through mesmerizing melodies. Chapter 3 ends with groovy and dancy remix from Shunus, who took "Miracle" by Juliano Gomez & Artimpakt and gave it his own style.

”Selion and Sini are colors, wide and slow colors. The elements move, the background changes: this defines the space. Color can mislead, can change spatiality. There is an architectural consciousness that supports the groove, so as to create a new space. That's why there is a need for low wide bass, slow strong drums and scattered drops of echoes, to have a ground, a horizon, and air. These tracks walk a direction in my music.
On this path I met my friend Frolov who took one of these and showed me another side of sound.”

We are more than happy to present the first full EP by @harmon33 . The sound enthusiast is well known from other projects and has been active for quite some time. "Ghosting" and "Grounded" are a little older but nonetheless timeless beauties. Remixes were contributed by the lovebirds @Faberbeatz , @Blindsmyth and @Luced feat. @aleezalynn.

Udāsa's Second EP alsahra' kidnaps us in the Maghreb. Venue is the desert. Far away from civilization, Berber tribes roam the sand. Wind blows over the dunes. And at night, temperatures drop below freezing. Then only a cup of hot black tea will help. This desert is a place full of dangers, but also full of beauty. The voice in Alsahra' belongs to Jasmin Amin. The oud in alsahra' and Wanash played Ghaith al Shaar.
