MoodyLab aka Labros Mountakis was born and bred in Thessaloniki,Greece His passion for electronic music begun at the age of 16 following the musical trends of Acid-House and Techno.He started to build his record collection influenced by Labels such as Radical Fear , Relief , Peacefrog ,Labworks ,Novamute. to name a few.In the same year he is started his broadcasting career in a local underground radio station(Super Fm 108.3) where he hosted the “At.Lab” program for 2 years.In 1998 he finished his studies in sound engineering and music technology . Ever since he is Djing in various events and festivals hosting residencies at 2 clubs. His enthusiasm for new sounds and the evolution of electronic music has kept his artistic spirit alive. Currently he is producing his own music and also cooperates with a friend under a different project name. His style can be described as a mixture of deep house dub techno pads chords and textures always influenced by the early Chicago and Detroit grooves.In 2012 he joined the Phonograph-Music crew.

Troef! is a musical concept, monthly organized in nightclub Subsonic in Groningen, the Netherlands and focussed on the rawer and darker styles of techno and minimal.

Troef! was organized by Sander Sittn! and Winchester, two techno DJ's from Groningen. They experienced a large dance-scene in Groningen but saw that this scene was mainly focussing on progressive and house. Since both have a strong predilection for minimal and techno, and experienced a lot of interest in these styles throughout Groningen's scene, they decided to take matters in their own hands and come up with the first monthly concept that really focusses on minimal and techno.

Ever since the first edition, which was held in October 2011, Troef! has been an inspiring and energetic event which has seen successful editions throughout time. Troef! has welcomed both international and national names, such as:
GO!DIVA (NL), Bitclicks (DE), PLUS20 (UK), Fab Gayraud (FR), Hefty (UK), Israel Toledo (MEX) and many more.
