The Methodology of the Salaf in Seeking Knowledge

●The Ten Companions (may Allāh be pleased with them all) promised Paradise by name.

●In general all the Companions (may Allāh be pleased with them) are in Paradise. 

●The definition of who is a Companion of Allāh's Messenger Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him).

●All the Companions are trustworthy. 

●The mother of the believers- 'A'aishah (may Allāh be pleased with her) is free from all accusations and is a pure woman, and was beloved to the Prophet (peace & blessings of Allāh upon him).

●The great virtues of the Companions (may Allāh be pleased with all of them).

●The people of Sunnah love all of the Companions of Allah’s Messenger (peace & blessings of Allāh be upon him).

●The people of Sunnah do not testify that anyone is in Paradise or Hellfire except for those whom Allāh and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) have informed us of.

●From the Sunnah is to leave off the people of innovation, and to not look into their books, and to not listen to their speech.

●The defence of the scholars of Sunnah of the illustrious Companion- 'Uthmān (may Allāh be pleased with him).

●From the misguidances of  'Abdulrahmān Hassan.
