The Sao Paulo duo of Brazilian Eric Frizzo Jonsson and Serbian Arjana Vrhovac Jonsson combine their mutual love of minimal leaning house, dub techno, and their Brazilian roots and it is the latter that really sets them apart. Their sets for legendary SP club D-Edge and productions for the likes of Cesare vs Disorder’s Serialism Records imprint bristle with Latin flair. 

This is exactly what has pricked up our ears. From the opening beats and elongated piano notes of ‘Concerto’ their mix for our InSession series confirms there is a universe of minimal music out there waiting to be dug up. This is a deep dive look into a talented duo that winds motive musical elements around tightly tied beats and we guarantee you will come back to this edition again and again.

Known for her impeccable selections that she has been sharing around the globe during the past two decades, @lolapalmer is considered by many as one of Europe’s finest deep techno selectors. 

Her consistent stream of DJ-mixes has earned her an impressive following through channels like RTS.FM and MixCult. After collaborating with the likes of Terry Lee Brown Jr, Lola continues her musical journey with releases on Mixcult and a debut vinyl EP on the well-regarded BERG AUDIO label, featuring reworks from the scene’s favorites, Janeret & Priku ft. Dinu. 

There is no doubt Lola is only at the start of her artistic path, with many more exciting news to come.

On their last weekend open I was invited to play and decided to make something special for the books.
