Podcast 18 for the Svyatki team was recorded by Ki.Mi. @kimimusic  - producer and label owner from St.Petersburg, Russia.
Ki.Mi. started producing music in 1999. Since 2003 he is also a dj and a promoter. In early 2005 he signed contracts with foreign labels on some releases including a full album.

2009 was a special year. His album Muzik Book was released on Superbia label with the track Stereokubizm that was on top 10 chart of Depeche Mode.

A few years later, the talent of the musician lead him to collaborate with such heavyweight electronic music labels as Moon Harbour Recordings, Danse Club Recordings, Haunt and others, as well as to a three-time victory in world remix contests from Beatport.

Kimi is a versatile creative person, which confirms his inherent participation in the unique Technopoetry project, the organization of many events with the participation of world electronic music stars, the presence of his own vinyl labels Kashatskikh and Afterme.

В результате - подписаны контракты со многими крупными лейблами. 

Несколькими годами позднее талант и профессионализм музыканта приводят его к сотрудничеству с такими тяжеловесами электронной музыки как Moon Harbour Recordings, Danse Club Recordings, Haunt и другими, а также к трёхкратной победе в мировых конкурсах ремиксов от портала Beatport. 

Кими является разносторонней творческой личностью, что подтверждает его неотъемлемое участие в уникальном проекте Technopoetry, организация многих мероприятий с участием мировых звёзд электронной музыки, наличие собственных виниловых лэйблов Kashatskikh и Afterme.

From classic deep house to vocal cut filled house bouncers and of course bass fuelled minimal cuts all make an appearance in your average Maqossa set. However, average is hardly a word we would use to describe this dynamic pair.

With a touring schedule that is in the process of taking flight you will be able to catch the pair at BPM Festival in Costa Rica as well as a slew of European dates through 2022. Arthur and Gijs are currently working on their first EP but if their DJ sets are anything to go by they will be packed full of only the finest vibes. @ocumusic‘s passion for deep analogue sounds and grooves is all-consuming. Ever since he was a teenager, his whole life has been devoted to feeling, sharing and shaping hip-rolling house, dub and techno rhythms and textures. With his projects, he wants a more precise mix of musical genres in order to create something that closely approaches the original sound, with the use of analogue machines as well as external effects, which characterize those particular soundwaves that are shaking the soul while maintaining all the hot flavours. Throughout time, his productions have been dispatched through labels like @DetroitSide, Body Parts, Wrong State Recordings, CELO Rec, IWW, Arupa and Capodopere, among others.

As a self taught musician, Argentinian Alexis Cabrera started to experiment with music at a very young age. After having spent six years of conservatory studies, his music flourished. Cabrera’s style can best be defined as a tech house sound with groovy bases. He performs exclusively live, singing his own songs on the fly. His songs were released on labels like Mindshake Records, Bla Bla Music, Raum...Musik, Little Helpers, Kumquat Records, Time has changed, Great Stuffs and many many more.
In 2011 he co-produced Barem’s “After the Storm“, along with Barem himself, released on Minus [Minus 110]. 
In August 2012 goes on sale his debut album on Mindshake Records: “Ocean Between”, which is the only album in the label history.
He has participated in Boiler Room (Buenos Aires) with Barem and Ernesto Ferreyra in 2014. And also, he made several tours around United States, Central America (El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Colombia) and South America (Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Bolivia). 
Alexis Cabrera, based on Berlin, without any doubt evolves in the most renowned league of producers of Argentina and his discography shows collaborations with top artists of the world such as Barem, Federico Molinari, Someone Else, Kate Simko, Franco Cinelli, Paco Osuna, Lorenzo Bartoletti, Jorge Savoretti, among others.

Forthcoming in the next week is KRB002, our second vinyl-only release. With the record so close to release, we are very fortunate and eager to showcase an hour long mix from remixer Nick Beringer, who’s mix provides the perfect example of not only why we were so eager to have him on board but why he is one of the most sought after artists in the industry. 

It is often said of Nick Beringer that he is a defender of the good old Berlin style. What that means is instead of flashy tricks and effects-heavy sets, he locks people in with his perfect pacing, timely selections and long mixes. Atmospheric house, dub techno and freakier electro define his always journeying soundtracks. Of course, he will also pull out the classics and jump through styles to suit the mood of amore playful party, or trip you out with weirdness at the afters. Either way, a knowing skill underlines everything he does in the booth.

Nick started out in indie bands playing guitar, eventually moving on to making his
own beats and sampling from his Nintendo GameBoy, the only electronic sounds he had to hand. A move to Berlin to study lead him on an exploration of the city’s nocturnal soundscapes. A fascination with nineties house and garage informed his first releases, and also lead him to an enduring friendship with Beste Modus.

Initially a vinyl-only DJ inspired by the analogue warmth, human roughness and deep feelings of the likes of Mike Huckaby and Moodymann, Nick eventually evolved his set up and now uses all tools at his disposal to find his perfect sweet spot.
Since 2015 he has spent a few days a week in his studio, meditating on music
and going wherever the mood takes him. As such he will often find himself making
ambient, hip hop or techno without knowing how he got there. “If you’re only trying to chase a certain style that is fashionable right now, tracks will always sound forced,” he says rightly. “What I’m trying to do is to pick out my favourite pieces from modern styles, but take them back to the old school Detroit and Berlin kinda approach, which is stripped down and club focused house music.”

Inspired to turn on his hardware by a wide range of starting points, Nick is able to
strip things right down to their bare essentials and still suck in the dancers and make a lasting impression. Evidence of this comes in his diverse discography on labels like Taverna Tracks, Dorian Paic’s Raum Musik, a forthcoming remix on Krab Records, and his own label Rubisco where he can release whatever he likes. Past EPs like Nocturnal, Passage or Slope & Dip showcase his seamless mix of the old and the new and have resulted in truly timeless club tracks.

All of this has made Beringer an in demand name by tasteful clubs and crews across Australia, Europe and at hotspots like Watergate and Tresor. His own crew, which also hosts parties in clubs like Griessmuehle and Ipse, is a thriving collective full of creativity and is one of the reasons Nick Beringer is now an essential part of house and techno conversation in Berlin and beyond
