MLM Aka MaxLaMenace presents the next explorative V/A for his label La Menace Records.

Since inception in 2018, the Paris based collective have shaped an intruiging, versatile personality. Extended digital releases span a variety of moods, from downtempo, trip hop and ambient tips; to groovy, acid-tinged flavours.

The label's founder returns in their third release with a playful, garagey bomb. Here we are with our 4th release. This time it comes from the likes of Carebears, Tito Mazzetta, Nate S.U. and Ruven Medici. Biguzzi by italian stallions Carebears is a tribute to 90's house grooves with a characteristic raw sound that makes every single element crispy
and solid. A2 it's Soft Breaths from Tito Mazzetta it's a perfect trip into minimal vibes with an hypnotic atmosphere that
will keep you contantly floating. Nate S.U. comes with Close To High, a solid combination of deep vibes combined with housy
grooves and ethereal synths. Last but not least on the B2 we have the Swiss based Ruven Medici with Niacoc, a never ending
groove tool based on an hypnotic minimalish vibe that will keep you bouncing on the dancefloor.

A roaring loom with unique threads flying and interweaving beyond all human following, working out a pattern beyond all human interpretation. Well, scientists and artists alike, all humbled by flows of momentary occurrences. The order seems now the least law in the universe. A strange mist of normality sets on empty streets before we gather again pushed by fear or pulled by hope and affinity. Our answer is the effort to pull together far knotted homes connected by the universal language of music. Ten artists from Germany, Netherlands, UK, Colombia, France and Australia share their accents forming the Red Thread that connects us all.

PREMIERE: Le Louche - Eleanor's Cut [Artefax Movement]

We’ve been quiet, and much like the rest of the world, in a state of lock-down. Whilst no one is allowed to leave or enter Australia, the one thing that can travel is the Australian sound.

Our first digital release presents a line up filled with Australian-only artists featuring a variety of established and familiar faces alongside a bunch of new ones. The nature of the scene today can sometimes be restrictive for those wanting to get their tunes heard and into the ears of listeners around the world. To combat this issue, we wanted this release to also focus on giving a shot to all, who during these times, have also taken a crack at forming a sound of their own. The Australian sound has thus slowly emerged and penetrated the global scene as the Down Under VA pushes all things house, minimal, and electro to span a broad selection of electronic and club-grade tracks.

The Down Under VA is now available for purchase through Bandcamp and we couldn’t be more excited to get this released after over a year of production and planning.
