After a first release (Raw Tools Vol.1), representing the team's classic house roots, we are back with a new Various Artists (Virtual Tools Vol.1) meant to showcase the sound identity and signature of the label.

Virtual Tools Vol. 1 is the first episode of our new project, a series of Various Artists digital only releases, in which confirmed and promising artists are exposed.

In this episode, the six-track compilation is strongly influenced by the early 2000s era of raw and blitzing Electro & Progressive House that was back then swinging the Berlin and London underground scenes. Always through a distinctive hybrid approach, we wanted to give birth to six unique tracks shaped for the dancefloor, associating vintage drums and samples with more modern synths, basslines and arrangement, giving to the release a particularly mesmerizing feeling. A feeling meant to state loud and clear our will : to provide DJs with powerful crowd electrification tools.

We truly hope that you will like this release. The artists and ourselves put all our heart to it and we can't wait for you to enjoy it as much as we do !

Here we have Roto, an artist making the audio trips straight out of Spain and has already proven himself on the scene to be one of the most dedicated hardworking men from a recent wave of artists. Already landing a few releases on the respectable modern labels this musician is proving with his actions that hard work and dedication pays off. Being a multi-instrumentalist as well as a DJ, Roto delivering a message of “Dear Suburbia” with four deep and dark cuts which are oozing through with obscure vocals ready to be played loud on any type of chosen sound systems around the world. Kosh continues to move at his own pace with his label Convergence. Musically, that's fast, but output wise, careful and considered, with over a year or more apart between each installment. That's because creating complex worlds within worlds, which the Moroccan artist has a knack for, certainly takes time. Now a trifecta of releases in, the Enslaved EP serves as his most fine-tuned and liberated project for the label yet. 

On the title track, split between a vocal mix and bonus beat version, Kosh delivers a cosmic and introspective electro demonstration at its core, with flares of psychedelic and trance inducing sonic fusions. Its lyrical content is trademark Kosh, with its cautiously optimistic reflections on the world intuitively tapping into the current zeitgeist, yet through a universal futurist lens, leaving the listener with a sentiment that's timeless and expansive. 

The flip side sees the filtered house foundation of "Supernova" burst into scorching Detroit style techno stabs before the EP enters into uncharted territory with the interplanetary escape soundtrack on acid that is "Above & Beyond."
