PIV039 comes from Birmingham-based duo Ruze. Known for their dedication towards dynamically driven basslines, it seems only right that "Mindset" kickstarts this package in infectious ways. "Chapter" takes over with a blistering groove fully loaded with dynamic snare play, while "Tales of Shinjuku" easily feels like a homage to the Japanese game era of the 90s.
