IB13 is the artistic alter ego of Gabriel Rafael (1997, Portugal), from Vale do Sousa, a northern region of Portugal marked by rapid industrial growth.

His sound is deeply shaped by this environment, a landscape where factories, machinery and human expansion threaten nature. This tension becomes the foundation of IB13’s identity, reflected through dense industrial textures.

This dark aesthetic symbolises the critical state of the Iberian wolf, whose fight for survival depends on the balance between humanity and the environment. 

Yet, like a ray of light breaking through the darkness, a subtle sense of hope lingers in his soundscapes, suggesting that the future can still be shaped by action and awareness.

In his distant youth, he listened to the songs of legendary bands such as Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Space, Giorgio Moroder, Supermax on his father's cassettes, and a little later he heard a collection from Ibiza from a friend, and, apparently, this was a significant moment in his life as an artist.

In the summer of 2012, Alexei's first performance as a disc jockey took place in the King Korolyu club (Yaroslavl), and a little later he became a member of the PromodjTV project (Moscow).

In 2020, he has performed in such clubs as: Pur Pur afterparty (Moscow), Biggi afterparty (Moscow), Zeppelin (Yaroslavl), Line up (Yaroslavl), Mc2 (Vologda), Zhir project (Kostroma), Iceberg (Yaroslavl) ). Plexus club (St. Petersburg, Zinger Archive (St. Petersburg), Incognito (Moscow), Mix afterparty (Moscow), WARPP CLUB (St. Petersburg).

Today Mandrakov is a successful and demanded artist, whose sets and live performances will not leave anyone indifferent! Charisma, positive message, and unique

tricks in the selection of material make him an indispensable participant in good parties.

Since 2019, she has been a member of the creative association R_sound.
