Subterranean Odyssey is back with it’s 3rd release by Juaan… Hailing from Mar Del Plata in Argentina, he’s started to make a name for himself in Europe and beyond with his releases on highly regarded labels such as, most recently, Partisan. 

The “Lorenzo EP” is dedicated to Juan’s newborn son and showcases his sound perfectly with a variety of different moods. This EP includes 4 tracks that are sure to be club (Ju)anthems in the coming months. 

As ever, the artwork was elegantly designed by Madame Fourmilion.

Jacopo Latini and Giammarco Orsini continue the Data Memory Access trajectory with the second outing on their eponymous label. Jacopo flies solo for this release, showcasing his innovative sound across four essential cuts within the “Echoes Of Tomorrow” EP. Gritty yet futuristic energy throughout, creating a beautiful balance between genres, teasing elements of techno, and electro, but still keeping the depth and emotion Latini’s productions have become synonymous with. Wandering between the distinctive and hypnotic moods of “Time Is Up” and the sought after “Nightfall”, in addition to the transcending yet punchy atmospheres of “Otherside” and “Electric Edge”.
This classy exploration from the Italian producer follows on from what has been a bright few years for Jacopo, as he has found himself sharing his music on a diverse selection of labels including Mood Waves (solo and as DMA), Innershades’ Altered Circuit, and as Data Memory Access, labels such as UK favourite, Craigie Knowes. The “Echoes Of Tomorrow” EP adds to this colourful back catalogue as Jacopo approaches what seemingly looks like the most prolific stages of his career this far.

Cyber Alien Communication marks a key milestone for the SQNC collective, which is now evolving into a label under the name Sequence Records and unveiling its debut release: SQNC001. This first release brings together two distinct yet complementary sonic worlds, embodied by Hearthug and Cybercafé aka Adam Dirk’heim.

On the A-side, Hearthug delivers what has already become an anthem—a groovy, irresistible track, crafted for the dancefloor and driven by a mischievous voice that weaves seamlessly into the rhythm. His second track takes a more acidic direction while maintaining his signature fluid and infectious groove, which has been moving crowds over the years.

On the flip side, Cybercafé aka Adam Dirk’heim lays the foundations of his musical identity: a powerful and immersive sound built on deep, pounding kicks, distorted synths, and an entrancing, hypnotic energy that draws from retro-futuristic electronic influences.

Kitchen Plug’s “Nice To Meet You” is a genre-defiant playground where punk’s raw grit collides with neon-lit electro in a way only this Parisian trio could orchestrate. “A three-headed creature of weird molecules and good chemistry,” the band thrives on contradictions: their sound is both chaotic and precise, nerdy yet irresistibly cool. The 5-track parcel – set for release on digital and vinyl via Paris-based indie imprint Chat Noir – feels like a fever dream of synth-soaked rebellion, blending brash energy with moments of unexpected vulnerability. Imagine three misfits hijacking a retro arcade, armed with drum machines and a devil-may-care attitude, and you’re halfway there.
