The 6ix Tales EP was composed by LVCA during a fully immersed, three-month residency at a secretive studio in the center of Toronto - a city nicknamed ‘The Six’, hence the name of the EP. Stacked to the roof with rare, vintage Moog synthesizers and machines, one piece being custom-made by Robert Moog himself, LVCA had unlimited access to this unique studio - the result of decades of accumulation by a private collector. The opening track, 'Teep' takes us straight into that 2 am, underground, dance-floor feeling where all heads are locked into a body-jacking 4:4 journey. Psychedelic bleeps and electronic schisms float above a seriously chunky baseline that’s 130bpms of pure drive.

Hindsight provides the most energy from the 3. A rolling bassline, swung hats & tumbling percussion. Finishing off with some 90’s chords. This is a track that is suitable for anytime on the dancefloor.

Laws of Nature is the pick of the bunch from the Leeds duo. A warping bassline and choppy hats. Filtered synths, chord stabs and some acid tinges turn this track into a killer cut for any club.

And finally, Chances. A hugely powerful kick and clean 909 drums that roll throughout. A track that defines, less is more. Each element works together without over complicating the track. A heavy bassline, vintage chord samples and luscious pads. A perfect way to round off their debut collab on One Records.
