Carpathian Sounds came back with the third episode of Carpathian Cast. This episode comes from Constratti, a minimal producer from Brașov. He started to produce music 2 years ago being influenced by parties and festivals and by the evolution of this industry. He brought his contribution to the minimal scene with releases at labels such as TheLabRecords, Phonichouse1, NNMS, Not Allowed, Tzinah Records and more. We are glad he joined us with this unique set.

Luc Ringeisen and Suburbial join forces in a collaborative EP for Rotate Music.

The joint works shape the label's seventh release with three exquisite minimalist cuts. Sounds are heavily textured with a warm, subby aesthetic. Nimble basslines fizz between inquisitive and dissonant melodies, accustomed to the label’s sound.

Complimentary curation makes up their vinyl catalogue of crafty club cuts, featuring the likes of Denis Kanznacheev which we previously reviewed, Levi Verspeek and Cleymoore in a number of various artist releases. After making its mark as a significant release on the Hummingbird By BPZ imprint, the Future Legend “Mental Menthology” LP sits comfortably amongst the collections of modern-day electronic music fanatics, so it only seems fitting that this February the label will release a special remix package following on from the album. The three-track remix EP meanders through fantastic productions from DoubtingThomas (Eastenderz, Organic), Georgios Papamanoglou (Deep Series, Mixx Rec), and label founder Benjamin Philippe Zulauf, all of these affiliated with the label in past times. 

The opening track “Tickling Whispers” is remixed by the established DoubtingThomas who shows no signs of slowing down in recent times. The remix consists of trickling and pensive synths that maneuver around a clean drum arrangement.
