With over a decade of experience as a DJ behind him the versatile Momo Trosman continues his upward trajectory in recent years. On a personal level the Argentinian never tires of developing his distinct sound, consistently honing his craft and pushing his record bag to new boundaries, shying away from following trends but instead amalgamating a blend of genres, manoeuvring between innovative shades of UK and US 
House, Electro and Techno, utilisting strains of Breakbeat and Minimal, and extends this further in to ambient when taking his dance floor on a journey.

 This raw talent for storytelling has seen Trosman take his comprehensive sound on a global scale, frequently touring Europe year on year, and several US tours under his belt already. The Buenos Aires native is most famously known for his co-creation of the record label and party starting outfit Melcure, a dynamic and cohesive project which brings together Cure Music and Melisma with close friends and affiliates Dani Casarano, Felipe Valenzuela, and many more. 

The connection between this thriving artist and electronic music runs
deeply, with the roots at the heartbeat of his passion transcending from a vast background in music including Rock, Pop, Dub and Jazz music, among other genres. 
A series of vibes he is extremely fond of to this day, implementing them into his diverse sound of modern times as a DJ. The ever evolving story of Momo and the trust he receives worldwide is a testament to his undying passion and organic ability as an artist, and long may that continue as he sets his grips firmly on a bright few years ahead, including his latest project Replica alongside the legendary Franco Cinelli.

It would seem that there was something in the water in Italy during the tail end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s. We recently highlighted this via our recent Free Download artist, but another Italian artist who is just as influential is Francesco Farfa. Incredibly, he was already a working DJ by the early 80s and that was before the age of electronic music. This just meant when the advent of drum machines dawned across the music spectrum Francesco was already armed to the teeth with skills honed playing funk and disco when early proto-house began filtering through to Europe. Barcelona-based artist Tunik, is a true master of synth-based music. So much so that the Argentinian is often one of the first artists that springs to mind when in need of a large dose of darkness. His productions and DJ sets speak to a higher power that sees his performances at the likes of Les Enfants Brillants, OUTPUT, and Razzmattaz in his adopted Barcelona, as well as a regular slew of the finest parties around the world. 

Being an in-demand artist doesn't stop Tunik from pursuing his own vision of electronic music. This was born in the shape of the Synth City project, and what followed was an evocative series of events at LEB. We are yet to even mention Tunik’s productions that only appear on labels that are at the vanguard of the underground. His longstanding connection to Dekmantel speaks volumes of the progression of his sound, as does his EP’s for Nicolas Lutz’ My Own Jupiter imprint and Further Electronix.

Tunik is without doubt a true force to be reckoned and we are thrilled to welcome him to our InSession podcast series. A self-confessed genre hopper, we are guided through a cosmic selection that all share an unspoken connection through the ethereal. Lush soundscapes soon give way to enticing breakbeats, mystic synths, and an unwavering groove that is as relentless as his own journey deep into the farthest reaches of his record bag. A sonic trip to truly induce a disconnect, we are certain that after one listen, you will be seeking out the Argentinian wherever possible.
