Adam Rose is a dynamic DJ, the creative force behind YOON Festival, and a fervent advocate for electronic music. YOON Festival, initiated in 2019 by Adam and his friend Jake Mora, has rapidly grown into a unique music extravaganza. 

Living between Los Angeles and San Diego, Adam navigates diverse music scenes, striving to expand horizons in San Diego. Playing alongside the likes of Markus Sommer and Dana Ruh has provided Adam with valuable experiences, and he continues to act as someone who very much elevates the west coast house and techno scene. 

We sat down with him ahead of the latest iteration of YOON Festival to chat about what he’s been up to. Adam also delivered an outstanding mix for us, which you can listen to here. Head over to the website to read the full feature!

O álbum "create your own heaven" que começou a ser produzido em 2022, possui uma variação de 121 até 138 BPM, 7 tracks e quase 1h de música. Uma mistura de Minimal / Deep Tech, Trance, Deep House e House Music. Uma track é a continuação da outra, tanto pela intensidade quanto pela seu storytelling;

01 - the prologue [121 bpm]: é uma track que nós da gravadora tivemos dificuldade em distinguir qual gênero ela se encaixaria. Com mais de 11 minutos, "the prologue" é a track que inicia o álbum e mistura synths do Deep House e um groove contínuo característico do gênero Rominimal. O background da track foi feito com um áudio gravado da natureza durante uma viagem à serra gaúcha;

02 - listen me [123 bpm]: a letra da track foi feito por mim e fala sobre uma fase da minha vida. A track é de Deep House com elementos de House e com certeza é uma boa ideia prestar atenção nos vocais dela;

03 - ladies & gentlemen [125 bpm]: foi criada através de um sample de uma entrevista em que o entrevistado é Elton John e o entrevistador o ator Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean); Possui elementos de House na sua essência com uma bassline mais massiva.

04 - dab boy [127 bpm]: uma track de minimal com synths bem flutuantes que circulam em uma atmosfera stéreo como um ping pong e claro break hipnótico e com mta ressonância porque, sim. É uma track de ro minimal.

05 - 24h lockdown [129 bpm]: o vocal foi tirado de uma cena do filme "Training Day" em que atua o ator Denzel Washington em uma discussão. Um Deep Tech com um groove único!

06 - no turning back now [131 bpm]: um deep tech que possui synths bem espaciais e uma bassline contínua. Seu background também foi realizado através da captura de sons realizada pelo produtor.

07 - i think is the end [138 bpm]: Foi a última do álbum e foi finalizada este ano (2025). O álbum foi iniciado em 2022. Agora sim está pronto. Ela possui elementos de trance e tbm alguns sons ácidos bem profundos.

"Create Your Own Heaven" Album

Started in 2022, the album spans 121 to 138 BPM, featuring 7 tracks and almost an hour of music. It blends Minimal/Deep Tech, Trance, Deep House, and House Music. Each track flows into the next, both in intensity and storytelling.

01 - The Prologue [121 BPM]:
This track posed a challenge for us at the label to categorize within a specific genre. Spanning over 11 minutes, "The Prologue" opens the album, blending Deep House synths with a continuous groove characteristic of the Rominimal genre. The track's background features nature sounds recorded during a trip to the Serra Gaúcha.

02 - Listen Me [123 BPM]:
The lyrics of this track were written by me, reflecting a phase of my life. It's a Deep House track with House elements, and it’s definitely worth paying attention to the vocals.

03 - Ladies & Gentlemen [125 BPM]:
Created using a sample from an interview where Elton John is the interviewee and Rowan Atkinson (Mr. Bean) is the interviewer. Its essence lies in House, complemented by a massive bassline.

04 - Dab Boy [127 BPM]:
This is a minimal track featuring floating synths that circulate in a stereo atmosphere, much like a ping pong ball. It also includes a hypnotic break with heavy resonance because… why not? This track leans towards Rominimal.

05 - 24h Lockdown [129 BPM]:
The vocal sample is from a scene in the movie Training Day featuring Denzel Washington during a heated discussion. It's a Deep Tech track with a unique groove.

06 - No Turning Back Now [131 BPM]:
A Deep Tech track with spacious synths and a continuous bassline. Its background also incorporates sounds captured by the producer.

07 - I Think It's the End [138 BPM]:
The final track of the album, completed this year (2025). The album's journey began in 2022 and is now ready. This track features Trance elements and deep acidic sounds.

Blossy tales # 8 - Melody

For our second Sonic Resistance Series we are glad to welcome  @Komponente and @kurilogeny, our friends and colleagues from Kharkiv, Ukraine.
Komponente is a founder of @tvir records, a vinyl only label, launched in 2014. Similar mindset and taste for a quality sound have brought him to start a new  project together with Kurilo called @trance-pandemic, launching their first common release „For A Brave“.
