It is hard to imagine the London underground before Enzo Siragusa minted the FUSE brand. This is a bold claim, but it is a totally fair comment given the mark that both Enzo and his brainchild have had on today’s current tech house sound. What is even more impressive is that it didn't seem so long ago we were discussing FUSE turning 10, now another landmark is on the horizon and even after 15 years there is no slowing down. It is impossible to discuss Enzo without heaping praise on FUSE, but there is much more to this unassuming raver than just his clubbing brand. His roots as a raver still informs everything that he does both in front and behind the decks and we doubt that this will ever change. Having played at pretty much every party worth playing in the UK, Laidlaw is now making strides onto the White Isle with some great dates that have included Eden with One Night Stand, Cova Santa for Do Not Sleep, and of course the Mecca of DC-10 for Solid Grooves. Few artists have the same panache in the studio that they do in the DJ booth and Laidlaw has it in spades. Some artists aren’t loud about what they do. No hype, no heavy branding—just steady work, strong records, and an ear that’s dialed in. @boss-priester is one of them.

Based in The Hague, he’s quietly built a sound rooted in minimal, house, and techno—clean, groovy, and full of restraint. Releases on What NxT, Dark Side of the Sun, and Interweaved have earned support from heads like Enzo Siragusa and Dungeon Meat, but his focus stays on the craft.

With a background in Music Technology from Utrecht, Boss has a thing for analog gear and subtle swing. It’s never flashy—just dialed in.

We linked during the lockdown haze on Brawther’s Discord, then met in Berlin and hit the studio. Since then, we’ve kept orbiting each other.

This live set was recorded opening Loveland van Oranje 2024. Boss wrote new material just for it—stripped-back, deep, and intentional. It’s a rare, more vulnerable side of his sound. One of three gigs that day, with his dad riding along.

No big statements—just presence. Let it unfold.
