Distrikt resident and Parisian based Egyptian artist Mehdi M has become an integral part of the French landscape. With tracks as hot as his collab with Bassam and Sakanat’s debut release ‘Break the Juno’ and his follow up extended EP coming late last year. There is little chance that you have escaped his infectious basslines and future retro electro flecked beats.

We welcome the man himself to our InSession series where he turns in a stomping mix bristling insane basslines and bombastic grooves. A perfect snapshot of the Egyptian’s unique view of dance floor music that has helped shape his native homeland and the country he now calls home.

Dutch artists Toman has risen rather quickly in the last few years to become an absolute groove machine. Relatively young in years Toman has already amassed an impressive collection of EP’s for some tech house’s most desirable labels. He counts imprints such as Meta, Eastenderz, LOCUS and of course his own Toman Music all bear the mark of an artist that is on a flight path to the top. Priku partner Dinu is more than just the sum of his collaborations. Without Dinu there would be no Atipic live act and the Romanian is much more than a bit part player. His work on the keyboards and electronics are an intrinsic part of the Atipic sound and having provided sterling performances at the likes of Rex Club for Traumer’s invite series, as well as countless Romanian sessions.

Much like his productions Dinu’s DJ sets bristle with punchy drums, interweaving melodics and a swaggering attitude that can only come as a result of an artist in tune with his chosen ingredients. We are delighted to welcome Dinu to our InSession series where he delivers an hour-long trip into the other side of Atipic.

We are excited to welcome him back to Gottwood this year and his is set is  definitely one to catch this June in the woods.

When it comes to techno, electro, and more importantly Electroclash, few can argue The Hacker’s credentials. The Frenchman was instrumental in the formative years of these movements and being active since the mid-90s has meant his discography is positively bursting with pivotal moments from electronic music. It is nearly impossible to discuss The Hacker without mentioning Miss Kittin, with some of their work such as “Champagne” EP including seminal tracks “Frank Sinatra” and “!982”. This is of course only a small, but not very important part of The Hacker’s story. With a string of solo albums and countless EPs to his name, the cross-section of electronic music that The Hacker enjoys is wide.
