Eclectic Elektra is a Berlin-based DJ and producer. Her music is *eclectic*, ranging from Italo Disco, Indie Dance and Dark Disco to Trance, House and Acid. Think of it as a cheeky Italo 80s hit with an acid baseline and some 90s house stabs. She used her time in lockdown to venture into music production and is set to release her first track in 2023.

Pirštais lakstydamas pultu - Domeika mintyse skrieja kalnais, žaisdamas dažniais - atskleidžia pasirodžiusias vizijas, kurias išjausti jau galėjote Lizdo akademijoje, Granatose, Kablio Kilpose, Minimal Mondays, Draugai Draugams renginiuose.

tA Mixtape 43 is signed by a duo that has been on our radar for quite some time. 
Italian natives but Berlin-based, these guys represent the link between the old rave party and the new influences from Europe Club
Younger Than Me is the "duo" project of Marcello Carozzi & Francesco Mingrino, 

Their style is recognizable in all their productions e djset and they are resident DJs at monthly party in Tempio Del Futuro Perduto, called Futura, also spreading the vibe in European clubs like Ankali, Jasna 1, Lärm, BAR Rotterdam, Kablys + Club, Griessmuehle, Thuishaven, etc. 

They already released with Dischi Autunno, Tusk Wax and XXX label are co-owner of 90's Wax series 
Definitely, a name to keep an eye on for the next few years.
Their motto is:
"You may stop the party, but you can't stop the future"
No sentence was so right in this period.

tA MIXTAPE 43 | YOUNGER THAN ME

Hermano Emmanuel Poulper (SXDNS146/FREEDL028) is going to start 2021 sharing brand-new music with us, peeps: His forthcoming “Premonition EP” will be released in the beginning of the next year on the interesting French label Coquelicot Records and will bring two high-quality originals and two spectacular remixes made with extreme and hardcore love by two skilled ambassadors of the so-called Indie Dance/Dark Disco scene: Mexican Alvee (FREEDL019) and Lithuanian Aurum Miles. We were solicited to review the latter’s remix for the title track, and we dare to say it is the highlight of the EP.

The chemistry that exists between Emmanuel and Aurum is impressive. Even living far away from each other (in Buenos Aires and Vilnius, respectively), the lads managed to launch a label together: Quixotical Records; despite being still young, the project has already achieved worldwide recognition due to the excellence of the curation process. But let’s resume the talks about “Premonition”, shall we? Featuring Poulper himself on the vocals, Aurum’s gothic-clad version is simply beautiful! The dark and gloomy attire suited the original perfectly, and the result is a rich and ingenious post-punk interpretation.

New signing to Masterskaya Gloria, today shares her enthralling debut single ‘PTS’. Watch the video for 'PTS' which was shot entirely in 16mm.
Directed by Kinopravda, the clip is a naïve utopia offering respite from the calamity of 2020. It's where a single social media post results in war-mongering, bickering leaders reaching world peace. Haunting deepfakes of Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong-un and Angela Merkel celebrate, sliding into each other's DM's.
The tone of the above scene -- taking a gimmick-y dig at meaningful change -- may seem postmodern. But the video manages to envelop the viewer in the artist’s multi-perspectival metamodern take on the world. There's a scene where the ethereal Gloria character is spawned and it feels like a manifestation of unadulterated transcendence. “I believe the world to be meaningful and meaningless at the same time,” says Gloria (aka Krisztina Dányi), reflecting on why the wry yet sincere mood that is an overarching theme.
But the Gloria video -- and Gloria character as a whole -- is not just a visual metaphor for the artist's philosophical thoughts; there’s something more intimate at play: "My heart was broken. I had to create something to believe in because there was nothing left to believe in. I had to create her to heal me and I had to believe in her. Now I have to believe in us. We are Gloria."
It’s encouraging to hear such triumph in the face of adversity. The potency of her bewitching vocal melodies and thought-provoking modular textures perhaps owes something to that thrill of discovering a newly uninhibited state of mind.
The artist wrote and recorded the track uninterrupted in her home studio in Budapest. But she is far from insular; she picks her collaborators brilliantly. Márk Moldvai -- a founding member of the seminal Hungarian bigbeat band Neo -- engineered, and trance legend Oliver Lieb mastered the track. 

Coupled with the beautifully shot analog video, the refined level each piece is indicative of an artist with magnificent character and great ambition. Masterskaya, the Kyiv-based independent label founded by Ivan Dorn simply couldn’t be more pleased to introduce her. A truly special talent.

No FTR es el último trabajo de Daniel Monaco publicado en edición digital y vinilo de 12” para Logical Records. Con base en Amsterdam / España, el sello que lanzará el EP digital completo que incluye remixes de Shubostar, Franz Scala y James Rod.

El lanzamiento en vinilo limitado fue posible gracias al sello holandés 339 Records y saldrá como un maxi single que incluye solo No FTR Original y Franz Scala's Remix.

Sobre el EP:

No FTR es la abreviatura de No Future: Daniel Monaco quiere representar un viaje a un lugar oscuro, tal vez perdido en el espacio, tal vez condenado a un universo paralelo, las, baterías a veces se mezclan con sonidos metálicos y melodías que sugieren sentimientos de esperanza y desesperación, todo ello secuenciando los bajos de sintetizador que se entrelazan con líneas de bajo interpretadas en vivo, tratando de crear ritmos de rodadura embarrados pero nítidos. Se hizo una exageración intencional en el arreglo para recordar la plenitud en el sonido típico de algunas pistas italianas de la vieja escuela que le gustan a Daniel Monaco.

El EP es un concepto de Dark Italo que contiene 3 originales y 3 remixes de artistas como James Rod el imparable Boss label de Golden Soul Records, la artista coreana Shubostar propietario de Uju Records conocido por su Cosmic Touch y por último el jefe de Slow Motion Franz Scala pionero de la nueva ola italiana, un verdadero creador e Italo Master, aporta su toque mágico para hacer de este lanzamiento un esencial de 2020.
