The Project PQ17 was created by the Russian music producer Platoon Quick back in 1996. He workes as a techno and electro act in several well known clubs and raves in St. Petersburg. A couple of his tracks entered some russian electronic record labels yet. 
Later the project was frozen because Platoon became more interrest in beeing a participant of the techno promotion groups, participates in the organization of parties and itself acts as a DJ.
Returning from an indefinite leave he with huge potential and an inexhaustible amount of energy releases its music on "Mars Frequency", "Battery Park Studio","Urban Connections", "EMC" and "Tropical Underground"...

MacGyver 2.0 is the artist name of Sjors Broersen, Amsterdam based producer, DJ & VJ. Being part of the Mute team, and in the past Hausse & RTFKT Collective, he has a wide range of experience with throwing parties in the DIY scene. Most likely you find him at a dark basements with good sound systems, abandoned or squatted places, playing his hybrid dj-set, combining his  favourite tracks with extra layers of acid sounds and other analog-synth sounds. His styles are ranging from Disco and Melodic Electronics towards a bit more darker Acid sounds later at night. Always with a touch of the 303 and the aim to make people dance.

As a producer he works on his own tracks and a project called The 80's Acid Edits, editing 80 tracks with a extra layers of acid sounds and harder kicks making them ready for the dance floor. 

And as VJ he tries to makes a new project mapping each time around with the stuff that's around, always trying out new shapes and angles to create new visual effects.
