Um dos novos nomes que tem surgido na cena eletrônica de Brasília, Encanto trouxe neste set uma verdadeira viagem por texturas deliciosas da House Music. Disco House, Italo Disco, Italo House e Nu Disco são algumas das vertentes que ele explora nessa mix, repleta de grooves e psicodelias finas cheia de referência aos anos 1980 e 1990. 

Verdadeiro nômade da música eletrônica, Encanto tem passagem por festas pra lá de fervidas do Brasil, como a Lust (BSB), Horny (BH), ODD (SP). Também é residente da Funcition FM, webradio mineira com uma programação super diversa. 

Produtor musical, já lançou faixas pelas gravadoras como a U’re Guay Records (ARG), "Sinchi Collective" (NLD) e a Cutting Corners (BR).

Haus_it Cast #115 - Encanto

Scruff Angel (Dom) is a DJ and partier interested in the blend of traditional House/Club and a distinctly Latino sound. With a long family history in NYC, he is interested in meshing his Dominican roots with the bitchy sounds of modern queer club music to expand what it means to find joy, love, and community in nightlife spaces.

In his words: I recorded this at 10am after a night out at the club and it is a distinctly daytime mix. There is a particular joy, sexiness, and mystery to the comedown - after a night dancing when the sun comes up and you feel hopeful and curious of what's going to happen next. This mix feels playful, trying to capture the feeling of summer, waiting for your crush to come over, sex with the windows open...

We have the honor to present the guest DJ for this month, @yura_yura_yura:

Yura was born and raised in São Paulo, Brasil. Circa 2015, they started DJing for the independent underground music scene of the city, having learned with one of the first São Paulo techno female DJs in the late 90’s. Yura moved to Lisbon, Portugal in 2019, where she started a show for radio Quântica and later the party VORAZ. They had played in the hottest parties in the city, always bringing an intense energy.  

Yura brings a fine n’ fresh selection of tunes, specially from Latin America, that matches with the energy needed in the dancefloor. You can find some dirty electro, Brazilian funk, and perfect house tunes. But the music genre doesn’t matter that much - what matters is the narrative of the DJ set and the sensitivity to understand what song works better at which moment.
