Workaholics has been one of my favorite shows for quite a while. I knew I had to do something with the theme song and with it as the basis, this is what I came up with. Lots of additional production, 808's and fun old school samples were thrown in to make this party break set off the dance floor. Fort Knox Five (FK5) was formed back in 2003 by four like-minded musicians, Steve Raskin, Jon Horvath (RIP), Rob Myers and Sid Barcelona. Each musician in the group have also worked with other acts in the music industry including Thunderball, Thievery Corporation and See-I to name a few. Fort Knox Five also formed their own label Fort Knox Recordings to release their unique style of funky music. Fort Knox Recordings still runs today with various artists contributing their music over the years and giving the label its mass following. With the recent sad passing of Jon Horvath they still continue to play shows as a LIVE instrumental act as well as rocking the turntables to the masses.

Tru Funk is a fresh funky label from the north of Poland, set up by the members of the Tricity Funk Cocktail aka the Tru:Funk crew.
We started playing together and throwing parties in autumn 2010. 
Since the beginning of 2011, Tru:Funk crew have managed to host BadboE, GoodGroove, Jayl Funk, Lebrosk and Telephunken. 
The crew consists of 5 DJs/producers: BMD, Cez14, Chudy, Silo da Funk and Warson, and a bboy/graphics designer Bob. 
Since most of the crew are also producers and in the last couple of years we had been releasing music through other labels, a logical step forward was to set up our own label.
