'Cumbias Imaquinarias' is an EP going full circle to one of El Buho’s earliest inspirations for making electronic music: digital Cumbia. It was a scene that exploded out of Buenos Aires around 2008 and went global. The scene got saturated and fell out of fashion but gave birth to artists like Chancha Via Circuito, Frikstailers, El Remolon and was a big inspiration for him as a young producer. For El Buho there was always something there: the entrancing magic of the cumbia rhythm reimagined for the electronic dancefloor. Cumbia is a music that is at once globally connected but also so diverse, evolving and growing into so many subshoots of this one simple rhythm. This EP presents three cumbias and one porro rhythm (a derivation of the Cumbia rhythm from the Colombian Caribbean which evolved into its own style).

QOQEQA is the music alias of Daniel Valle - Riestra, one of Peruʼs most groundbreaking musicians of its current generation. Danielʼs sonic journey has shifted over time from melody - to percussion-driven and expanded its imagined borders from the Peruvian highlands into the African wetlands.
These cross - pollinations began when Daniel partnered up in his late teens with singer and musician Andrea Campos to form the duo Animal Chuki in the first stages of the 2010s, coinciding with the digital cumbia explosion in their home country. While much younger than their scenic peers, Animal Chuki cast a light on its own by proposing a very original take on Andean music, warped into the future through the skilled use of synth pads and a unique feel for engaging melodies. Animal Chuki bid farewell to a steeply growing fanbase after two successful world tours and once the lights were out Daniel found a renewed inspiration while standing in the dark. With QOQEQA, Daniel presents a fully matured project that digs all the more subtly into his own cultural heritage and at the same time focuses its attention on polyrhythmics and the notion of creating melodies through percussion, an idea which is a leitmotif in many expressions of African music, to which Daniel is no stranger, not only via his recent musical tastes but also through his approximations with West African drums- unique elements of the Yoruba culture that found a home overseas on the shores of Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Antilles. A delicate interplay of light and shade, QOQEQA is a journey into the dark which rewards the listener with flashes of refracting light oscillating at any color frequency the imagination takes us to.

The Dale Cooper Quartet & The Dictaphones are returning with their 4th album called "Astrild Astrild". Like all of the previous albums, the band recorded the seven pieces at home in Britanny during several sessions between 2013 and 2016.

The characteristics of this full-length are classic drone soundscapes mixed with deep tone saxophone parts that became the band's trademark since the release of their debut album in 2006. Slowly paced, the new tracks are following the Quartet's basic structure and classical sound. Apart from that the new full length conceals more live takes including guitars, bass and Rhodes keys and even piano sounds are haunting for the first time at the end of 'Ocho Acenteur'. With these new elements the songs of "Astrild Astrild" are pushed further into a large tunnel of deafening rhythmic parts and field ambiant textures.

Vocals are a major element of the Dale Cooper Quartet & The Dictaphones' DNA since the second album "Metamanoir" (2011). Sometimes breathy, sometimes deep and often mysterious, Ronan MacErlaine, Gaëlle Kerrien and Zalie Bellacicco voices appear in the corners of the songs as ghostly figures or eerie characters.

The new album "Astrild Astrild" is a glimpse of the present live sound of the Dale Cooper Quartet: 50's crooners singers, noisy guitars, atmospheric electronic and hypnotic jazz. All of these elements painted in monochrome black.

On the occasion of Hard Fist 9th release Balam - "Chants of Pachamama" EP, 3hours broadcast with Argentinian talent Balam, Mexican artist Bufi and French label heads Cornelius Doctor & Tushen Raï.
Constructed like a tribute to latin rhythms and percussion, which are central in Balam's works, Chants of Pachamama EP is a mix of influences coming from acid house to electronica, passing by many traditional and ancestral amazonian music roots. In addition to the 4 originals, Bufi - also well-known under his other alias Theus Mago - made a dark and melodic remix which signs the first collaboration of the two latin artists.
Enjoy an alchemical concoction of percussion, acid and global sounds from Middle-Eastern, African, Asian, and European countries for the next 3 hours.
