To end the year in style, The Clamps is delivering a new 6 tracks EP on Kosenprod.
Starting with the title track "All For Us", he brings us in a dark and dystopian world, while "After The Sun" takes us in an emotionnal solar storm.
Then, he turns down a bit the BPM on “Now Can’t You See”, in collaboration with brand new project Jaḍāna, in a fusion with breakbeat jungle and blues jazz.
"Echo Of Time" continues in a modern and cold atmosphere, to be warmed by "Heart Of Tomorrow", which pushes us in a bass deflagration teinted of Rave vibes.
To finish, he closes the Ep with "My Life" in featuring LiL_V1sion where Techno meets Drum & Bass artifacts.

Once, there was a fallen angel who had been banished from the heavenly realms for his insatiable thirst for power and rebellion against the divine order. This angel had once been a powerful force of good, a being of pure light. But now, he walked the earth, his wings crimson and corrupted and his halo made of chains.
Despite his fall from grace, this fallen angel still retained the knowledge and wisdom of the heavens. He understood the intricate workings of life, of creation and destruction, of love and pain. He could see the threads that connected all living beings and the delicate balance of the universe.
As he walked the earth, the very air seemed to ignite around him, flames trailing in his wake as a harbinger of destruction. Those who crossed his path trembled in fear, sensing the sheer force of chaos that emanated from his being. Consumed by hatred and fueled by his desire for revenge, the angel unleashed hellfire upon the world, scorching everything in its path with an infernal fury that left only ash in its wake.
The world lay in ruin around him, a desolate wasteland devoid of life. And in that dark and lingering moment, as the last embers of his hellfire flickered out, he realized the true cost of his vengeance. He knew he was lost.

A shadow fell with bleak weight against the broken cityscape as the towering frame of the scaled behemoth stood above the now desolate metropolis. Cold eyes flickered within the recesses of its heavy skull, surveying its fragmented and twisted domain for any remnants of the fleshy morsels of the living who had once resided there. Beneath its talons shifted stone and metal, groaning under its weight in a cacophanus lament for what had been. It lumbered forward through the carnage of the city, led by its singular mind, barely noticing as each thundering step felled the last vestiges of that once grand city around it. This city on the rocky plain, a pinnacle of the species that built it, now laid to waste by this overwhelming titan of entropy and fury. The towering skyline collapsed around the beast as it effortlessly shifted and demolished with single sweeps of its tail. Issuing a howling, guttural roar of pure, brutal energy, its inhuman rage resounded throughout the city, angular audio reflections bouncing across the broken buildings and striking fear deep into the hearts of those who still clung to a wretched life. They haunted the shadows, hiding from the its ravenous hunger, hidden away in fear amongst the crumbling concrete. With a burst of sudden fury the beast twisted, striking at a skyscraper and tearing it open, spilling the mess of its insides and the once precious multitude of human things across the streets below. But missing was the softness of the meal it craved. It lumbered onward, the strange paths which this insignificant species had laid, leading it through the decaying land... a constant drive for flesh feeding its voracious desire - that endless, unfillable void. Its stride echoed with the ominous assurance of recurrence, its cycle of consumption would begin anew.

They say crime doesn’t pay, but that’s a lie worthy of its own criminal charges. Of course, I don’t mind seeing it perpetuated. It keeps the weak out of the game, and there’s a certain panache to be gained from playing into the stereotype. Cat burglars and the like can have their fancy airs, with all their focus on agility and grace, but me? I like to keep things simple. Someone important once said “speak softly, and carry a big stick,” and I hold to that, though I find a bit of roughness to mine adds to the image. The classic approach is effective, the image of a someone like myself wrapped in shadow, weapon in hand and clad in dark clothes. It’s an act made all the better with audience participation however, so the character you want to play from there is up to you. The stage may be set but the script can go in oh so many directions. I suppose it just means I’m good at what I do, but the disappointing fact is that I rarely even get to use my full kit. A funny thing really, most people just tend to fling their valuables at me when I’m the only one around. A charitable donation on behalf of my excellent performance, perhaps it should be considered, though I find most of these performances to be quite a bore. After all, any good plot needs at least a little tension before its resolution. Some try to run, and that’s at least a slight improvement, but it’s best when they try and fight back, like the two at my feet.

It’s an almost tangible feeling, an aura exuded by those with an excess of both wealth and confidence, an attitude perhaps not dissimilar to my own. After all, they’re often criminal too. If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that you don’t get rich without breaking a few bones, whether physically or metaphorically. This is doubly true if you’re young, like these two. Knowing when to lose is a wisdom that comes with age, a wisdom apparently not yet possessed by this pair even amongst their myriad of other possessions. So, when it came time for me to collect, they stood their ground… One even drew a weapon of their own, as if to threaten me! I savoured the moment, for this was the tension I relished. The palpable exhilaration ran through me as we stared down the alley at one another. I struck, rushing forwards and reaping my rewards with two great swings of my club, a shower of their shiny valuables shaken loose for such an excellent performance. In taking a bow, as is customary for any self respecting performer, I collected my due. They crime doesn’t pay, but for those of us who are STONE COLD, perhaps it’s untrue.

With the 5 tracks within, L 33 pushes further towards an evolved version of his sound than ever before, with each slice of audio delivering a unique and sleek tech-fuelled idea designed to slam hard into the dance. Surprising in many ways and exactly as technically refined as one should expect of him, the STONE COLD EP delivers exactly the kind of forward-thinking drum and bass that we crave from both artist and label.
